Melton Vets is an independent vet practice in Melton Mowbray
We decided it was time to set up an independent practice that focused on the values that were most important to us and our clients.
We strive to be active participants in our local community and most importantly make a visit to the vets informative and compassionate for you the owner; yet hopefully a relaxing and fun experience for your pet.
We are fortunate to have had an opportunity to design and build our facilities. These include a cat friendly waiting area, separate dog and cat wards with comfortable hospitalisation facilities, a spacious prep area leading to a dedicated operating theatre, a modern diagnostic suite with digital radiography and ultrasound, a separate dental suite and facilities to isolate your pet should they be seriously ill.
We are located on the Snow Hill industrial estate with ample on site parking facilities.
We will be providing a 24hr emergency service at the surgery ensuring continuity of care for you and your pets.
We could not be more excited about our lovely modern practice and look forward to welcoming friends (furry and human!), old and new, to our new home.

Just can't say enough good things about these vets - especially today, after Frank's front teeth had a high-speed encounter with a wire fence. Charlotte and Giles are highly skilled, knowledgeable, etc etc - but they also have a very sincere love for what they do. And thanks to them, Frank still has a beautiful smile. Melton Mowbray is lucky to have them!

I didn't have an appointment, and wasn't even registered with Melton Vets, but took my cat down after he took a funny turn last night. Despite being fully booked, we were seen after only a short wait ...
I didn't have an appointment, and wasn't even registered with Melton Vets, but took my cat down after he took a funny turn last night. Despite being fully booked, we were seen after only a short wait and the service was fantastic. Tests sent off and priced very reasonably. I'm now registered and will use again. Thank you.

I cannot recommend Melton Vets enough... simply amazing and caring people... Charlotte and Giles are fantastic caring people who go beyond the call of duty. Nancy, Kate and George and everyone else that works there are amazing too. We travelled 40 minutes round trip just to visit Melton vets so that says it all really

Charlotte, Giles, Nancy and all the team at Melton vets are simply wonderful. After 12 months of trying to get help for our red working Cocker, Alfie, I finally decided to change vets and I don't live locally! A friend suggested I see Charlotte... So I decided we had nothing to lose! From the very first consultation Charlotte listened considered everything we said and made excellent decisions about what the approach should be to take care of Alfie and get help, for him and me! She went out of her way to get us a referral to a specialist unit that could help Alfie and 10 months later on he's a different dog and we have Charlotte to thank for that. Also the rest of the team when they've seen our other dog Senna and Alfie too, have been amazing it's just a great practice. Wouldn't go anywhere else ever. Can't thank them enough.

Can't even tell you how amazing these guys are at Melton vets! Specially beulah and Kate for taking Lenny in early Sunday after his accident! Lenny is having a second sleep over as he needs more pain relief after his stitch up today. The team work so well together that everyone knew Lenny and his situation. updating us on his progress and every one is so nice I feel like I have known them for years. I don't think Lenny will want to come home he's being loved so much buy them all so. I can't thank you enough for his care and we all can't wait to have him home tomorrow!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We take our two dogs here and have been very pleased with the standard of care and friendliness we have experienced. All the staff are lovely and helpful, we always get an appointment when we need one urgently and the dogs get the highest standard of treatment, ranging from simple tick and flea treatments or vaccinations up to serious surgery and all at fair prices.

Just can't say enough good things about these vets - especially today, after Frank's front teeth had a high-speed encounter with a wire fence. Charlotte and Giles are highly skilled, knowledgeable, etc etc - but they also have a very sincere love for what they do. And thanks to them, Frank still has a beautiful smile. Despite being fully booked, we were seen after only a short wait and the service was fantastic. Tests sent off and priced very reasonably. I'm now registered and will use again. Thank you.

After 12 months of trying to get help for our red working Cocker, Alfie, I finally decided to change vets and I don't live locally! A friend suggested I see Charlotte... Can't even tell you how amazing these guys are at Melton vets! Specially beulah and Kate for taking Lenny in early Sunday after his accident! The team work so well together that everyone knew Lenny and his situation. updating us on his progress and every one is so nice I feel like I have known them for years.
