The vet, Vicki, who did my 5 stage vetting was lovely. But the practice has REALLY bad customer service! I kept calling about blood tests and nobody ever phoned me back. When I did get hold of the lady on the phone she made me feel like I was in the wrong. I kept on having to delay my horses arrival due to the tests that they said hasn’t been received. Eventually I got hold of the lab directly and they informed me that the test results had already been sent to Oakham the day before! Shocking service, they need to care more Read Less

We have had experience of several vets over the years but for the last 10 years have been taking our 2 German Shepherd dogs to Oakham Veterinary Hospital. Throughout this time Chris Booth and his Small Animal's Team have been friendly, professional, and highly competent, and the fact that they are a hospital as well as a general practice means that they have the facilities to care for your pet whatever it's problems.
18 months ago we moved away from Oakham, but we have still undertaken a drive of over 1 hour and 15 minutes to ensure that our dogs recieve the care that they deserve, so it goes without saying that I would not hesitate to highly recommend this practice to any owner of a pet that they really care about.
