My 14 the old boy had pneumonia, Nicole the vet was brilliant. 2days staying in with IV antibiotics and fluids and he's much better. Edith has been brilliant at dealing with Tesco pet insurance for us...
My 14 the old boy had pneumonia, Nicole the vet was brilliant. 2days staying in with IV antibiotics and fluids and he's much better. Edith has been brilliant at dealing with Tesco pet insurance for us, and the nurses are all lovely. Highly recommended!! ☺️

We have been using Medivet (Banovallum) for the last ten years with our two terriers (mercifully, not too many times), and have ALWAYS received the highest standard of care delivered courteously and professionally at all times. Also, the icing on the cake, the fees are extremely reasonable and not eye wateringly expensive.

I have been with Banavalum Vets since April 2010, there has been a few changes in this time but I'm so pleased to say in January 2015 I needed to take my labrador Daisy to the vets and was very apprehensive as all the lovely vets I had seen had left and everything kept changing but I'm so pleased to say Kate has been brilliant and will always try to see her. I think it's important to have continuity with the same vet and I must say I'm more than happy now.Just want to update my review as it's now 2017. Lots of Changes last yer as the vets went to Medivet but what can I say I think it's got even better! The staff are all so friendly and what use to be a real worry to Me taking Daisy so often to the vets I feel they really do care about our pets. Louise was excellent yesterday January 20th 2017 when I saw her took her advise on how to help Daisy lose a little weight. Thank you Banavalum/medivet

Alistair Mitchell is the most professional, experienced, caring and genuine veterinary surgeon I have ever met.
My 12 yr old GSD Basil suffered a life threatening clinical emergency, (a torsion or twisted gut) and thanks to Alistair he survived.
On a Saturday evening I noticed my GSD dry vomiting. I guessed immediately that he was suffering a torsion. I also know that time is of the essence and a dog die within 2-3 hrs without surgery.
I live near Horncastle Lincolnshire and my vet was already out on a farm emergency.
I used Google to find ANY vet available and Alistair Mitchell answered my call.
He immediately told me to bring Basil to his clinic at Fydell Street, Boston.
Alistair kindly rang me during the journey to guide me into the clinic as I had never been to Boston, Lincs and had no idea where I was going.
Alistair was waiting in the car park of his clinic with the doors open ready and Basil was immediately examined and operated on within minutes of arriving.
Alistair & his staff were wonderful, they let me see Basil after surgery and the nurse texted me throughout the night with hourly updates on Basils progress.
A torsion is FATAL without immediate diagnoses & surgery.
Not all dogs pull through and post operative complications are common.
Basil recovered well and owed his life to Alistair Mitchell and his team at Pilgrim Veterinary Surgeon.
Alistair is all you could want from a vet.

We have used Banovallum with all of our animals and have always been very impressed with the service we have received. Julia especially has always taken the time to create a bond with our dog so she is always happy to go to the vets - even though she has lots of injections for her allergies. Would definitely recommend!

I have been with Banavalum Vets since April 2010, there has been a few changes in this time but I'm so pleased to say in January 2015 I needed to take my labrador Daisy to the vets and was very apprehensive as all the lovely vets I had seen had left and everything kept changing but I'm so pleased to say Kate has been brilliant and will always try to see her. I think it's important to have continuity with the same vet and I must say I'm more than happy now.Just want to update my review as it's now 2017.
