Lincoln, Lincolnshire
General Info
At Vets4Pets we know your pet is a much loved part of the family and you want them to enjoy a long, healthy life. This is why our veterinary teams, made up of animal loving experts, firmly believe in providing the highest level of care and treating every pet they see like they would their own.
Every Vets4Pets practice is equipped with the latest in technology, which means we can offer your pets the personalised care they need. Our practices are also designed to make your pet’s time with us as comfortable as possible; just like kids don’t always like going to the dentist, we know pets don’t always like going to the vets! Our waiting areas are light and spacious (and with floors that can cope with little accidents) and we also have separate dog and cat wards so your pet can recuperate more comfortably after any treatment.
Our vets will explain all clinical terms so you fully understand what is happening to your pet and you are fully involved in their treatment plan. This also includes being completely transparent in our pricing, so you can make an informed choice on the treatment that you want your pet to receive.
Come and see for yourself at your local Vets4Pets, why not take a practice tour?

Have been registered with this vet for a few years now. We like the fact we can get appointments easily during a weekend and the receptionists and nurses have always been helpful and friendly at every visit. The same cant be said about the vets though, judgemental and on occassions actually rude. It seems to be getting worse and we have decided to register at a different vet. Read Less

Been registered with my dog at vets 4 pets for about 4 years now and since I moved house I didn't want to uproot her vets for routine things however thought if there's an emergency it would be better to have a closer vets as well. so I registered with an animal hospital closer to home however spoke to vet4pets and asked specifically if I could be registered with both which I was told was absolutely fine. Booked an appointment for my dog yesterday and double checked the appointment before I left today, when I got there was greeted by the receptionist and then left waiting for 25 minutes at which point my dog was very anxious and quite distressesed before a male vet called us into a consultation room and told me would not look at her because we registered with another vet. When I asked if he could please look at her for her sake not mine he point blank refused and his attitude was terrible. In the time he took arguing with me he could have treated her. I would like to add that one of the reasons I wanted another alternative is that whilst routine treatment is fine, the end of life care from vets4pets in the past has shown absolutely no regard for the dignity of patients or owners. I was left for 45 minutes with my dying animal suffering in the waiting room crying before I was shown in. I have seen people have to say goodbye to their beloved animals in front of a whole shop of people in the past. I WOULD NEVER BRING ANY ANIMAL TO THIS VETS IN THE FUTURE. For people that are meant to care for animals they certainly don't act like it. Read Less

I think they are absolutely shocking, I have spent a fortune on my dog she is a shar pei; she had a shocking background and had an ongoing health problem. I went to them asking for help and explained what is wrong with my dog and on several occasions they messed up. I had to transfer her documents onto another vets. They kept telling me she had a skin infection and then gained an ear infection due down to this skin infections, plus I pointed out she had swollen ankles and he said it's just her wrinkles. So after getting her to another vets, I just had to walk through that door and he explained to me she had shar pei Fever which could of been dealt with the first time I went to this vets. Now she is extremely poorly and is constantly on treatment thanks to them not picking it up the first time. P.s. Forgot to mention they lied on the documents about what she had which the other vets even laughed at too. Read Less

I thought it was good at first but now I really just want to change to a different vets! my rat had a lump removed and the sutures split open a little bit so I took her to the vets again, to which they decided to put a wrap around her to stop her from licking at it! while they did this they split the sutures open more so it stretched all the way from her stomach to the back of her leg!! it was gaping open and bleeding quite badly but the vet insisted it was fine and would heal well on its own when I showed some concern about it! I've had to clean it three times a day since and ended up taking the wrap of her because it stressed her out far too much as she wouldn't even eat or drink anything! when I took her back three days later they vet told me he wanted to suture it back up, costing me yet another 200 to fix a problem that they caused by splitting it open! if it needed to be sutured they should have done it on the day they split it open and not waited three days to decide it shouldn't be a gaping wound! I regret taking her back to be looked at and should have just left it in the first place as it would have been fine healing a little gap which was like 1cm wide to what it is now after they ripped it open :( they have caused me soo much stress worrying about her constantly and caused my little treacle stress too! I don't like it and wish I never even went back! Read Less
