All of the staff at Lincvet have been continually supportive and provided a great service to all of my dogs. I am a regular visitor thanks to my anxious 7yo whippet Marley. He had regular trips almost 2 years ago after he began having Focal Seizures, Lincvet ruled out what they could and referred us to a Neurologist to diagnose Epilepsy. This is now very well managed with their support. Marley became ill this time last year with a pain related condition that took quite some ...time to diagnose because as with everything with Marley his symptoms were not straightforward. Ann was brilliant with Marley who had several appointments over a number of months. Ann was thorough with all investigations, ensuring his pain was managed before referring us to a Neurologist where he was diagnosed with Cervical Disc Disease. Me and my partner brought our very poorly Guinea pig here the other weekend and the staff were absolutely wonderful. The cost of a consultation was very good value for money and they were able to give us some useful advice. Me and my fiancé brought in our two pet rats Angelica and Eliza today due to respiratory symptoms. The vet we saw was James Bould, and he was brilliant - very knowledgeable and reassuring. Our girls are bouncy and rarely sit still which can make examinations and weighing tricky, but he was great with them. The price for a consultation and prescription was also really reasonable. Overall we were extremely pleased with the service and treatment we and our little ratty family received, and this will definitely become our regular vet surgery. Great job. :) Read Less

First of all the vets is good and I do like them! I was pleasantly surprised at the vets knowledge and care for my rats as most vets seem to be lacking when it comes to rats. I do want to say however, I brought them a pigeon I picked up in town with a very obvious injured wing. It wasn't broken because I checked it over, and I work in a wildlife hospital and deal with pigeons a lot! So I did test it first and it was badly swollen on its right wing at the wrist joint and it c...ould not fly! I asked them if they would be willing to care for it since my hospital was too far away and I had an appointment I had to go to! I did tell them what was wrong with it when I dropped it of. I called back a few hours later to see how it was and was very surprised and quite annoyed when she said it was fine and they had released it back! The vet had missed the injury somehow and has now just put out a pigeon that can't fly and is now at risk because it can't escape danger! I understand vets don't usually deal with pigeons but the injury was obvious and should not have been missed! I don't know which vet checked it over. See More Read Less

Very happy with Linc Vet Staff are very nice , vet we saw gave us plenty of advice for both our dogs I think the prices of both treatment and the care plan are reasonable We have signed our dogs up for the monthly care plan which includes 6 monthly health checks which picked up on our dogs luxating patella so I am able to adjust her lifestyle accordingly and maintain her ideal weight to prevent it worsening and the vet has given us an honest opinion on the future option of s...urgery The use of two different practices and also Saturday appointments are also handy for us as a busy working family I have tried 3 other vets in the lincoln area none of which have met up to the same standard I have booked our little dog in for her neutering in the summer and I am confident she will be well looked after at Linc Vet See More Read Less

I am don't every happy bec I cancelled my care plan for my dog bec I am moving and in a few days I get a bill for 76 pound and I got to pay 10 pound for microchip n one of the staff said I save all my receipt for my things n I av got to pay for the microchip again bec I pay for it once this is for the wragby road one n the staff said I was every rude to them n there put the phone down on me n my wife phone up and till them she will pay it in December n she is send it special delivery Read Less

This applies to the birchwood branch of this company. I was spoken to very rudely by one the vets and was made to feel very small after they didn't understand what I was asking but instead repeatedly said the same thing after admitting they never dealt with the animal i had owned b4. In the end I walked away finding wragby road vet very professional understand and knew straight off what I was asking and what was needed to do with better advice and professional spoken to. Since then had my cat spayed with them which was done at friars lane but handled by wragby. I'll Never go bk to Birchwood after the way I was made to feel so small. This was in June 2016 Read Less
