Reception staff not overly welcoming, avoid even looking at you most of the time, the receptionist in glasses and hair back in a bun is particularly rude and ignorant. Vets are professional but some are more friendly than others. Tend to find they'll diognosed something it isn't, then charge you, then repeat several times over until the give correct diagnosis. One very big issue is the prices they charge compared to other vets, (£92 to tell me my dog had fleas and 1 tablet!! Then it turns out she didn't have fleas at all) but like most vets they'll use your emotions for your beloved pet to blood your bank account and are very happy to leave an animal to suffer in agony and pain for sake of a few quid.

I could not be more thankful for the care given to my Cat sherlock at the Friars lane surgery. All the staff are absolutely lovely, fantastic care and understanding given. Would definitely recommend!

Misdiagnosed cancer with actually two tumours as an upset stomach and were generally unhelpful when asked further questions. Glad I got a second opinion despite it being too late.

After waiting half hour after my appointment with no explanation to why. I went to reception desk to enquire the receptionist did not even look up from the phone to acknowledge me. Therefore I left never to return there are other vets.Manners cost nothing my time is as precious as there's.

This applies to the birchwood branch of this company. I was spoken to very rudely by one the vets and was made to feel very small after they didn't understand what I was asking but instead repeatedly said the same thing after admitting they never dealt with the animal i had owned b4. In the end I walked away finding wragby road vet very professional understand and knew straight off what I was asking and what was needed to do with better advice and professional spoken to. Since then had my cat spayed with them which was done at friars lane but handled by wragby. I'll Never go bk to Birchwood after the way I was made to feel so small. This was in June 2016

The receptionist was most helpful in giving me the information I needed, from my first enquiry to making my first appointment.
The vet I saw was fantastic - both extremely knowledgable and excellent communication.
I highly recommend them

I have been registered with these vets for many years. I find all the staff, friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. Amazing service! Phoned up on Monday in a desperate state needing an appointment for my mandarin duck and they fitted me in for that night. Wonderful staff, very caring and friendly. Answered all my questions and assured me he'd be fine (he was having an op to stitch a wound) Superb price as well. Would definitely recommend and use again :)

I just want to say a huge thank you for your kind care of an abandoned kitten I found. I rang another local vets first before coming to you and they wanted to talk money before even seeing the kitten where as when I rang you you were more bothered about the health of the kitten and let me pay my vets bills in instalments, I didn't know if the kitten was going to make it but with your care the kitten is doing amazing and looking fantastic. Thank you so much for everything you are doing :-)
