Couldn't rate these enough untill recently. Had my little girl with me and two rabbits for vaccines that's it and called a person in who's appointment time was after mine, the vet blamed the receptionist's and the receptionist's blamed the vet, when I eventually did go in the vet put the cage on the floor opened the door and nearly knocked the cage over with the rabbit inside following that didn't put the needle in and injected the rabbits fur instead which she then had to wash my rabbit . I was in there an hour for a vaccine!! Took my dog for an emergency appointment and was half an hour late going in, have since phoned another vet who are £15 a vaccine cheaper for my rabbits so have now moved. Read Less

Vets are always lovely with our two cats. When we first got one of our rescue cats, he kept vomiting a lot! The vet suggested altering his diet to a hypo-allergenic one before going down the tests route and indeed, this was all it took to 'cure' him. Now a happy, healthy cat! Read Less

Waited 2 hours for my gecko to been seen, staff were horrid, rude and talking rubbish to each other about customers. The receptionist told me my appointment was 11am, I was there at 11 and they said I’m half hour late my appointment was at 10:30 and I wouldn’t been seen in a while, they also got the prices wrong. Awful, awful place. I am unsure whether any of their so-called 'vets' have an ounce of veterinary knowledge between them. They seem more concerned with showing you out the door as soon as they can, but not before taking your money. Totally unacceptable standard of care, verging on neglect, which has caused unnecessary suffering to 3 of our beloved family pets. If we hadn't have pushed for our latest dog to see a specialist he would have been paralysed. Despite many visits, they failed to detect what we now know - from knowledgable vets - were obvious signs of cancer. Thankfully, we have recently changed vets, and are all the more happy for it! I took my 8 years old cat there after bout of vomiting , I also noticed that within last day and half he didn't eat or drink anything so we went to see vet straight away. We were seen same day, there was no obvious reason for his health decline so he stayed for further tests. Four days and over 400 we received the news that he passed away ,and we didn't even know real reason why.( vet diagnosis didn't make sense as the symptoms didn't add up) What absolute kills me is that he died alone at night and he was the most affectionate cat ever ,who hated to be alone ( no staff at night or maybe my old cat wasn't worth it for them) Read Less

All the vets are very friendly and professional. Took my dog in yesterday with a poorly leg and straight away they took her for a urine sample and blood test. Got the results a few hours later. Collected the medication today and the staff can't be any more friendly and helpful. The best vets I've ever been to. Read Less

After an awful experience at Park View with a very rude vet. I had a fantastic experience coming to The Veterinary Hospital at Doddington Road with Annili looking after my Lhasa Apso, Monty. Can't thank you enough for the care you have given our boy, Buster, over the years we've been coming to you. You are sympathetic towards worried doggie parents when we have to drop them off for operations and are really accommodating to the (probably) endless claims forms you have to deal with. Buster doesn't enjoy coming to see the vet but your always kind to him and give him patience and treats! Also a big thank you for being so patient with us paying his big bills! He's racked up a few in his time with us and you never pressure us to get it paid immediately! We've moved and have a vet just down the road but your care makes the trip worth while thank you! Been a client of The Veterinary Hospital since my parents had dogs and other pets...in other words a LONG time! I've always found all of the staff extremely friendly, caring and knowledgable from reception to nurses to the vets. Their care goes above and beyond when the news about your pets is not good and the heartbreaking decision has to be made to say goodbye. Great practice. Read Less

I've been using this Vet for a cat and a dog for a couple years and have been happy with the service, though sometimes the reception seems to operate a little slower than one might like. When our cat had a seizure they were really good about getting her in right away. If you're looking for a Vet, I would recommend this one based on my experience. Read Less
