rude to my girlfriend when it came to a late urgent visit which they demanded she came to after telling her on the phone the night before not worry and everything was sorting itself out. they then took blood samples from my dog even though it was said we had no money to pay for any treatments until a few days later when I myself was paid. they took the bloods any and charged 60 pounds for 2 lots of blood samples (excessive) and then kicked off about none payment even though it was explained. and although they said inwas life or death they never gave her any treatment either...however my dog was fine 2 days later without so basically from my view they realised they messed up when they firstly.said she was fine and then wanted to get money out of us...safe to say I will be leaving this vets. staff were more interested in leaving work on time rather than giving my girlfriend chance to find money of someone else which was organised...but because they were 10 minutes passed closing time they were rude and kicked them out even though her I'm turned up with money...i never usually do this but it was wrong in many ways. I took my very well behaved and gentle rabbit, Oscar for a routine nail trim. The vet was very unconfident handling him which resulted in the rabbit wriggling around and falling off the table. This caused the rabbit's hind leg nail to rip off. Once I spotted the bleeding, the vet casually told me his nail ripped off and carried on unsuccessfully holding the rabbit. Instead of assuring me, his nail will be fine in the long term, I had to ask on a couple of occasions why he was bleeding and whether it will be fine - I was told his nail may grow abnormally if the tissue is damaged.. The vet was very unapologetic despite me telling him I would like to hold the rabbit (since the rabbit is much more comfortable with me holding him) from the very beginning. Once Oscar had calmed down, the vet started trimming his nails, but this time he cut too deep and Oscar's front leg nail started bleeding. The only reason why I took my rabbit to the vet for a trim was the avoid any bleeding or harm to him. Once again, I pointed out the bleeding to the vet who ignored my comment and carried on trimming. I had to ask if I should do anything about the bleeding or just leave to heal on its on. Having missed a few of Oscars hind nails, the vet stopped and said it was complete. I wanted to leave ASAP and so I did. If you want a good and helpful service for your rabbit or small animal, I would advise to avoid Black Sheep Vets in Louth. Read Less
