I can't thank the team at St James enough. My dog Teddy picked up an eye infection while we were on holiday. I called st james and we had an appointment just over an hour later. My daughter took ted in and said the staff were lovely, the vet did a thorough check of teds eye to make sure there was no damage prior to giving medication. Thank you so much everyone. Read Less

I took my dog Archie for an ear infection and mentioned his cough. He then had an x-ray and was diagnosed as a grade 2 heart murmur and put on heart medication. 2 months later and a few trips to the vets he wasn’t getting any better. In fairness they did say to get a heart scan which would entail someone coming in to do the heart scan and it would be 400 pounds. I decided to go elsewhere for the scan and went to Eastfield vets in North Thorseby. The vet listened to Archie’s heart far longer than what was done at James Street. She diagnosed heart failure before she had even done the scan and x-ray. After she did the scan and x-ray her diagnosis was confirmed and Archie did have heart failure. For the consultation, scan, x-ray and new medication it was 348 pounds. He is currently responding well to the new medication. I will not be using James Street vets again. Read Less
