Good vet, with branches in Mablethorpe, Skegness and Spilsby Lincolnshire, very friendly helpfull staff, can do xrays and operations on site and has an after hours emergency service. They are open Monday to Friday plus Saturday mornings for emergency appointments post operative check ups. There is also a small free car park. Read Less

My poor sammy went to the vets for a tummy upset hes always suffered with and they gave him acid tablets. Then I go and put him in the boot of my dad's car then to get his paw badly trapped in the hatch where the boot shuts and hes yelping his head of at this point am crying then we got the vet out and the helper to get my boys poor out finally did it after 15 mins with a hammer bless him then they taken him bk in to check his paw thank the Lord he didn't break it phew and hes ad painkillers thanks so much to fenwolds vets so much appreciated you guys did a fab job with my boy xxxxxxx Read Less

I have read recently it is not recommended by the drug company and the BVA to have annual vacinations a article I've seen on dog listener, and so yearly injections are going against the guidelines given , what is your response to this ! as my boy has health problems on going and these jabs yearly can actually make things worse and are not required yearly according to the drug companies to keep disease at bay the vaccine is only require about every 3 years . Just moved into the area and was looking for a local vet for our dog. Very friendly staff on the reception desk . Vet quickly diagnosed the problem [infected anal glands] . Quick squeeze and an antibiotic jab and a once over and all done. Very satisfied with the service recieved. Price for treatment very reasonable . Will definately go back again. Read Less

Would not recommend this veterinary practice to anyone. My friend who lives in the area has had few bad experiences here. The receptionist at Mablethorpe. Claire, needs to take a course in customer care as she is miserable, rude to clients and arrogant, she never says please or thank you and makes you feel uncomfortable the minute you set in the place. My dog was misdiagnosed at this vets twice before a third vet actually decided what was really wrong with the dog.The dog died the same day as the third vet started his treatment .My dog was an Irish Wolfhound who was not even two years old.I will never use this vets again as they are useless.Anyone who really cares about their animals she think very carefully before going here. We had a surprise yesterday afternoon when our pygmy goat, Mary, went into labour. As she hasnt been pregnant for three years we thought her kidding days were over but we hadnt reckoned on our buck, Tommys determination. Her waters broke around 5 pm and an hour later we knew all was not well - a bloody discharge made us think the kid was probably dead. Since Mary didnt seem distressed or in pain we decided to wait until morning before we sought help. We phoned Fenwold Veterinary Practice at Spilsby and they said bring her straight in which we did. We have not used them before but we have to say they were brilliant welcoming, supportive and helpful all that one wants from a veterinary practice. Veterinary nurse Alison took charge ably assisted by Kirsty and the caesarean section was performed by vet, Richard Morris. As expected the kid was dead but Mary is recovering at home now so a big thank you to Fenwold Veterinary Practice!Read Less
