I have attended Kynance Veterinary Clinic with my pets from 2000 onwards. I have always received amazing care from all of the vets; from the first time I visited and saw Mr Butt and Peter and more recently from Judy and Adam. It is clear that they are very focussed on the wellbeing of the animals they treat. My dog has been to the practice twice recently: once for dental work performed by Judy and secondly for a grass seed that was trapped in the dog’s ear canal by Adam. They were both really friendly and helpful and explained the procedures very carefully and thoroughly. It was evident that they were genuinely invested in my dog’s wellbeing. I feel lucky to have such an excellent local vet. I could not recommend this veterinary practice more highly. Read Less

Exorbitant, day light robbery charges which ca not be justified. Obviously they care, but have now gone corporate, so the care is for how much they can charge for straightforward procedures. I have used this practice for 5 1/2 years and cannot beleive how downhill it has gone.My small dog was wrongly administered medication on Friday and had I not rushed him to the emergency vets on Sun he could have died.They have young incompetent vets and I saw one called Adam who gave my dog Tramadol and several other IV drips aswel as take home medication even though he wasn’t in pain.They even had the nerve to charge me after this for a check up as he’s still not right.All they care about is money and not the animals welfare...I would avoid... My dog was wrongly medicated by the new vet Adam who is clearly inexperienced.He gave him Tramadol on IV drip and take home medications alongside other medications when he wasn't in any pain.My dog was so ill afterwards he couldn't eat or drink that I had to rush him to the emergency vets who clarified he should not have been given the medication.I went on Weds as my dog is still not 100% to then be charged when it's their incompetence.All they care about is money and not the animals welfare.Avoid don't endure what I did. Keith Butt is a remarkable vet and I would recommend his practice to any pet owner. They treated my young dog when she had lymphoma and made a terrible few months as bearable as possible. Mr Butt went beyond the call of duty again and again. Read Less

Wrong diagnosis for my dog who now has an inoperable tumor. After waiting for a urine test sample, told urinary infection, when did not clear and got worse took to another vet who said from urine sample could confirm no strain of bacteria and said this could be have been realised from first test. Ultrasound later, and huge tumor growth where it was too late to do anything. Update 3 months later -my most precious little one was put out of her suffering four days ago. Please make sure your vet is giving the best attention and even get a second option.This is the worst experience ever. Read Less

Outstanding veterinary clinic. I could not recommend this practice any more if tried! This is the best vet we've ever been to, in both in the US and UK. My 16-year old Siamese has had appointments with all of the 3 vets in the practice and they are all thoughtful, patient and really care about your pet. Our appointments never feel rushed, and time is always taken to answer every, single, anxious cat-mom question I have. As my pet ages, she has had more and more ailments and they always take the time to carefully research and understand her symptoms. We are especially thankful to Dr Luke White for his care and expertise. This is a caring and affordable practice, and I feel as though my pet is in the very best possible hands every time we visit. We take our acting company director Miss Missi to this practice and we are always delighted by the exceptional care she receives. Today she is back to work after having a tooth out. I woke up the other day and found a lump on my dog's belly. And of course I freaked out.Having no idea the vet's in my new home, I checked Yelp and found Kynance. Called them, made an appointment and continued to freak out until it was time.Puppy got her first tube ride (an adventure all on it's own) and we went to the vet. This is a tiny clinic down a beautiful cobble-stoned road on Kynance Mews (right next to Kynance Place, the bigger, busier street). The waiting area is so small that three of us felt cramped, but it gave it that warm, home-like charm that lots of vets miss by going to sterile. This was a spot with heart.The doctor took me in about 10 minutes after my appointment and was able to tell me right away that I had nothing to worry about (thank god), it was just a fatty lump. He then asked if I had some time to run some tests just to make sure and of course I did. He was great with my dog. Quick and has his assistant give her treats with my permission to calm her as he took a sample. And yep, confirmed, it was nothing.The vet visit was about £40 and the lab work about £50 so overall an expensive day. Still, I'm glad they were quick, warm and able to tell me just what was going on. A quality spot for sure. Read Less

I am happy to recommend to anyone Kynance veterinary practice.  My pet doxi Ruby Tuesday who's almost 5 1/2 has been going there since a puppy.  They have been fantastic towards her and any treatment and care she has received has been 1st class.  We even named one of her puppies after her vet.  She is a very healthy and happy girl and that's because Kynance have always been their for her and me, in her time of need.  I feel absolutely confident in them and reassured my little gift from God is in the best hands.  Always.......  K.Avni Read Less

I really like this veterinarian. OK, it's a teeny tiny place, which only opens until 5pm Mon-Fri... But I was glad I made an effort to visit. My other vet in London is alright, but doesn't inspire the same level of confidence. So I popped along for some help with a "digestive" issue my pup is having, and left feeling listened to, helped and confident that we are on the right track. Five wags for Kynance :) Read Less
