This vets doesn't have a personal, caring feel to it. The receptionists seem quite uninterested, and can be quite rude. The last time I took my dog there they missed a problem. Granted this didn't change the outcome, but what else could they be missing? They then go on to charge a fortune. The vets seem inexperienced apart from Dr Sean who is very professional thorough and thoughtful. They seem to have more expertise when it comes to cats. Read Less

Very helpful vets, generally it's possible to get to see a vet most days in the open surgery. Most of the time you have to wait a short while. The receptionist is very helpful and friendly. This is a vets where they put the animals first - it's not just about money! Read Less

Very helpful staff. Had a poorly kitty I just took in and they chased down the medical records and vaccination papers from the old vet, as old owner was not very helpful. 2 nights later kitty was back to normal, after losing a lot of weight and hair. Read Less

A wonderful team of expert vets supported by a caring receptionist.....who have loved and cared for our pets for many years. We sadly had to have our beautiful cocker spaniel PTS yesterday. Thank you Lynn for being so caring and for sending Sean who Millie adored. We could not have asked for any more care and attention for her, thank you Sean for being the wonderful vet you are. I have to revise my original review. Whilst I think Littlecroft are good at routine cat treatment such as vaccinations, neutering etc, I had a period of months last year where my kittens had gastric illness which despite over a dozen visits and numerous tests they could not sort. I would wait, often standing, in the packed surgery for up to an hour sometimes, with stressed kittens with the runs in carriers. Getting appointments seemed impossible unless I took time off work. I would go in and find the vet studying a text book, which didn't inspire me. Eventual diagnosis came from the referral hospital, however my new vet said the tests would have been done at the practice for a fraction of the cost. Maybe they are better with dogs as I have heard good things. But not for me anymore. Read Less

I called Littlecroft Vets last year when I was refused a home visit by my usual vet as they didn't consider my dog's problem an emergency. Lucy was a Golden Retriever, aged 14, she had lost the use of her legs. I decided to call Littlecroft and they could not have been more sympathetic or helpful right from 1st contact with Lynn. The Vet visited that same day and managed to assess Lucy and prescribe a course of treatment for her. I had thought she would need to be put to sleep so you can imagine my feelings right then. Since then they have visited regularly and dealt with further issues Lucy had. Sadly, Lucy had to be put to sleep last Monday but she was safe and secure in her own home with her family by her side. I can't thank Littlecroft enough, Adam the Vet was so gentle with her and kept her calm, she wasn't stressed at all, just simply went to sleep. I'm heartbroken over losing her but in my mind we had an extra year with her just because they cared enough to visit and look after her. Would totally recommend them to anyone. Read Less
