Do NOT come here to help your pet! There only solution to help your cat or dog is to and I quote "Put them down". My Dog was the runt of the bunch he only starting losing his baby teeth at 5 so they wouldn't be growing back but, 2 years ago he was not well with his liver and they said "he is wasting away" and said "he will have to be put down". So we went back home to figure out because we didn't want to give up on him, he loved life at its finest. We done our research and we put him on Lactose medication for his liver, next 2 days he was back to himself from these vets saying "he needed to be put down". Over 2 years on, obviously he is the runt of the group and he has to take his lactose medication for his liver. He started to stop eating, and when he wanted his food it wouldn't take him long to eat his meal for a small dog and he loves to eat considering he was a skinny dog, so obviously its not right for him to act this way. It was has teeth which was the problem because of losing a few of his baby teeth 2 years ago. 4 weeks ago we took him to the THIS vets again as a worried pet owner will do. They patted him down, checked his blood levels, liver levels, they say "Everything is fine" (this was a male veterinarian). So he gave us medication to put our dog on to make him start eating again, it didn't work, he wanted to eat normal foods such as sliced ham, roast chicken or cheese. We took him again and there solution this time was and obvcourse "he needs operating on his teeth but its alot of money" obviously they want money first to help a sick innocent dog. So we thought about it an we agreed for him to operate on his teeth which for there next availablity an time awawrness was the week after the last time we took him. Coming up to yesterday, this is the fourth time in 4 weeks! We have took him to THIS vets, the morning before we took him again, his yurin had some blood in it, so we were worried, we asked the same women two years ago who said "he needed to be put down" about his cause and she found a solid lump round his private areas, she done a few tests and the results showed it was a "tumor" in his bladder, from going to the cause about his teeth it has now dramatically took a turn for the worst. The solution of the cause of this tumor in his bladder was the medication the male veterinarian gave us 4 weeks ago for his teeth. So we pleeded for her to operate and she refused because of his "liver" even though, his liver and blood levels are back to normal. She claimed that he was going through a lot of pain, and obvcourse she got her wish and saying "he needs to be put down" she would not help us in this time of need and she gave up on my dog, he loved life and was a fighter, if he had the operation there is still hope no matter what but there solution was "to put him down" we made a hard choice yesterday and to say good bye to our beloveded pet and it will normally take a small dog of his size 30 seconds to be put a sleep, it took him over a minute, because he was a fighter. Going back to 4 weeks ago coming here for guidance about his teeth to lead to a aggressive cancerous tumor caused by the medication they gave us 4 weeks ago. Now a man has lost his best friend, because of this corrupt, fraud and impeccable place they say "vets on green lane". I advise everyone to NOT go to this place if they care about their pet. If you have read the story, we deserved better service and answers from the last 4 weeks, but we were told lies and jokes leading them to kill our pet. A vet is meant to help animals and save them, how twisted an sickening are they if there only solution is to "put them down" an kill them? Exactly, she refused to operate yesterday, if it killed our dog, fine atleast we tried an he died fighting because he never gave up no matter what, even from two years ago when we were more worried about him then, than the last 4 weeks. Do not go to this place, THEY DO NOT care anyone's pets, cremation takes 9days to do also?!! That means the body is just decaying for a few days after its death! Read Less

A massive thank you to the receptionist who took our call this morning for us to bring Jasmine our beautiful cat straight away as she had been bitten by another cat leaving a nasty lump and patch on her side, Jasmine becomes very upset when in the car but as this is just down the road from were we live it helped enormously, also a thank you to the vet who kindly and with great care cleaned and attended to her with a lovely manner! fingers crossed she back to her normal self. I'm absolutely DISGUSTED at the price we were charged. It cost us 91 for a vet to look in my dogs ears and give us some ear drops. 34 for the consultation, We were charged an EXTRA 21 for the vet to apply some EAR CLEANER during the consultation and then charged another 23 for the ear drops themselves (we bought flea treatment that made up the rest of the cost) but 21 to apply a bit of ear cleaner?!? The vets felt disorganised and the vet was amateurish. I asked about the needs of my breed of dog and the vet replied that he didn't know anything about that breed. That was that. I was quoted 200 to have my dog spayed which I think was overcharging because another vet quoted me 130. I have now moved to Vets4Pets on Penny Lane which seems much better. Read Less
