Took my dog mia to be put to sleep as she had lost the use of her back legs as she was a 15 year old staffy my husband and I were really upset as it was the hardest decision to make the staff were really nice and the vet was so sympathetic and understanding my gorgeous dog passed away really peacefully and we were left alone with her for a short while we then decided to bring her home with us when I get my new puppy I will certainly be registering her with this practise as they were all so nice and the premises are so clean as a finishing touch I was also sent a sympathy card how nice was that once again thank u so much for helping me and my husband through this traumatic experience and for lookin after Mia so well xx Read Less

Always used this vets with all our animals. In October 2017 my dog who is 3 years old got really sick, took her to the vets and they instantly did blood tests on her which came back that she was going into kidney failure, they suggested we had an ultrasound scan on her to figure out the reason why and her kidneys were fine but they found fluid in her womb so they highly recommended we have her neutered. In feb she went in for her hysterectomy and the care she received was fantastic, they knew her personality just after one day. The entire time from October when she was sick they assured us that they would get her better and explained everything so clearly, would never use another vets now, absolutely fantastic and I’m so grateful I still have my dog with me due to their immediate investigations Read Less

First time going to this Medivet due to a recent move to Liverpool. Excellent service from the initial telephone call to the actual appointment. Very friendly manor and everyone was really polite and helpful. Even though i was 15 minutes late for the appointment (cat wouldn't go in the basket!) they were fine about it and still let me keep my appointment. And even though i had booked a double appointment (30 minutes) i actually ended up being there over 45 minutes (despite being late!). The vet did a very thorough job and you could tell she actually cares about animals. She did not rush me and was happy to answer (all) my questions. Would definitely recommend this vets to anyone. Been going here with my pets for years. The staff are lovely. Little expensive, but then aren't all vets. You really feel like they are taking care of your pet here. I wouldn't use any other vet! They have a 24hr emergency service, which I have had to use once, couldn't be more satisfied. Read Less

This surgery looked after our animals for decades, but it’s only now that I am managing to leave a comment: Super advice, the best attentive care and not scared of challenges or of 2 cats, one of which could be challenging when in a bad mood and not well. Totally different to a previous veterinary practice that left both of mine terrified in ther early years, with one vet complaining that one of them attacked him! My reply is that this particular cat was putty in any man’s hands and this surgery managed to make her care the best she received at the time, without any such occurrence. Andy and Brian Mcvey have been amazing with my dog Bailey. Unfortunately she was at the vets more than the park during her early life and they were always brilliant with her. I was personally recommend to go here by a work colleague, I'm so please I went with there advice. From the time of the initial phone call to leaving the vets, the staff were so polite, friendly and most importantly cared. My only regret is that I hadn't used Warbreck earlier. What I found really useful was the side room in which they have for the cats to unwind in, with a variety of products to make them feel at ease. Although the vets and staff are great, each time I have been I have had a 20-30 minute delay in my appointment which leads to my cat getting incredibly stressed in the waiting room. I've also been ignored by reception staff and they have forgotten to log that people are there for appointments, leading to an even longer wait. I'm starting with them due to proximity and vets, but they need to sort their waiting times out!Read Less

Kind, approachable reception staff with warm, helpful, and friendly personalities. The medical team, vets and nurses are honest, direct, and the animal is always top priority, but in the sadder situations, their compassion and empathy to the owner/carer can not be faulted.
