Would have given no stars if it was possible.
Not helpful at all when I wanted to take my elderly, disabled neighbours 15 year old cat to the vets for a check up, flea treatment and worming because it has gone a bit feral over the summer.
Don't bother with this vet if your not already registered there. Obviously no compassion for animals, very wierd.

Not accepting new patients at the present because of COVID19" - must really care about the animals! Puppies & Kittens are still being born and was very very dismissive. Staff need some more training or perhaps better still replacing. I used another vet on Cowbridge in the end. What a world of difference.

Have used this vets for a number of year's but over the past 2 year's I've not had a great experience due to my beloved boy having a procedure done with out any injection to numb the area despite having it done on 2 previous occasions with no problem at all as the area was numb. Now he is terrified but according to yourselves he's now and aggressive dog and its very upsetting for myself to hear him spoke of that way especially when I'm on reception explaining situation and 1 of staff member s from Brackla branch is telling me to muzzle him which is physically impossible. This happened in December and didn't complain about it and now wish i had.
Today (26/06/20)) i called with a request for simple Pirton tablets and shampoo which i normally ring up and request and pop in to collect.
Its hard times we are all facing now yet I'm expected to pay for phone consultation which costs almost £38 which quite frankly is shocking considering I've always had things with no issues in past.. I'm currently shielding had lost my income so times ate extremely hard. All i wanted was to look after my beloved pet.
Thanks for your complete and utterly unhelpful response.

I have had to visit maes Glas vets in the last few weeks and what an amazing practice the vets are amazing the after care advice sheet is brilliant and the reception staff are all so caring and lovely! Waiting time is minimal and the whole experience is as pleasant as can be BRILLIANT

Our dog has been in pain and lifeless for some time. Last week we took him to vet who diagnosed the problem as being with his teeth. He had to go in to be sedated and have teeth removed. We were kept informed of the process by phone thought the day . Following procedure their continued support and check ups have put our minds at ease...and our dog still enjoys his visits to the vet..to our suprise.

Very good customer service. A smile when you get to reception. The vetanerians are kind and helpful and also explain the process of what is going to be done to your beloved pet weather its a great dane or a gold fish. They also explain the recovery process. Not very expensive either witch is good thing. Would highly recommend Maes Glas vets. They get 5 ✨ from me and selection of mad animals

Good vets but boy do they ramp up the charges. You'll even get charged for disposable gloves. They love insurance. As soon as they knew I was insured they started suggesting total unnecessary specialist treatment to inflate the claim and their profits. Also you never see the same vet twice so there is no continuity of care. It would be nice to have the same vet for more than one appointment.

Emma Boullardie and her colleagues were there every step of the way, when our twelve yr old Jack Russell, Millie, became very ill, as a result of a heart condition. Emma came to us, when the time came, so that Millie was in her own home, with us. It was a very difficult time and Maes Glas vets were there for us.

overall good BUT they charge for EVERYTHING even a cotton swab. The bills here are very expensive compared to other vets. The majority of non prescription meds can be bought on line far far cheaper. M...
overall good BUT they charge for EVERYTHING even a cotton swab. The bills here are very expensive compared to other vets. The majority of non prescription meds can be bought on line far far cheaper. My dog had an operation and the list of costs was very detailed, I'm surprised they didn't include the shoe leather used to walk her to the front desk when I picked her up! When will they realise we are not mug punters that can be milked of cash. It never used to be like this until they expanded. Always remember there are other vets shop around.

Terrible vets caused my dog to die because of neglect this time last year. I will be starting legal proceedings! Bought her in for pyometra, had an op, told me she wouldn't come home until she was eating properly, she came home and wouldn't eat a thing, her lips and skin were cold to the touch and she was soiling herself involuntarily. I took her back the next day and I was told by a young male vet that she seemed "fine and bring her back tomorrow if she gets any worse" trusting the vet I took her home, the next day she seemed worse, took her back in and left her there for assessment. 30 minutes or so after getting home I received a call off this vet to say her kidneys had failed and she had to be put down!!! from fine to unsaveable within 24 hours! I think not! I went to say my good byes and this "vet" had gone home before I got there, probably avoiding me as he realised what he had done. DO NOT TRUST THIS VET WITH ANY PET!!! You will pay ultimate price as I have. It's taken me a year to pluck up the courage to say a word but now I have the strength to speak up against them. SAVE YOUR PETS GO ELSEWHERE

Our animals have been treated here for nearly 20 years. A gifted surgeon there saved our dachsund's leg after he went for an unscheduled ride up the wheel arch of some poor driver's car. I thought he would lose it, but after treatment here, he got away with losing one toe and gaining a bit of a limp when it was cold. Awesome veterinarian. The practice has grown considerably now and has more vets. But do not be afraid to ask for a second opinion. We had cause to and were satisfied with the service we received

Would have given no stars if it was possible.
Not helpful at all when I wanted to take my elderly, disabled neighbours 15 year old cat to the vets for a check up, flea treatment and worming because it has gone a bit feral over the summer.
Don't bother with this vet if your not already registered there. Obviously no compassion for animals, very wierd.

Have used this vets for a number of year's but over the past 2 year's I've not had a great experience due to my beloved boy having a procedure done with out any injection to numb the area despite having it done on 2 previous occasions with no problem at all as the area was numb. Good vets but boy do they ramp up the charges. You'll even get charged for disposable gloves. They love insurance. As soon as they knew I was insured they started suggesting total unnecessary specialist treatment to inflate the claim and their profits. Emma Boullardie and her colleagues were there every step of the way, when our twelve yr old Jack Russell, Millie, became very ill, as a result of a heart condition. Emma came to us, when the time came, so that Millie was in her own home, with us. It was a very difficult time and Maes Glas vets were there for us.

overall good BUT they charge for EVERYTHING even a cotton swab. The bills here are very expensive compared to other vets. The majority of non prescription meds can be bought on line far far cheaper. My dog had an operation and the list of costs was very detailed, I'm surprised they didn't include the shoe leather used to walk her to the front desk when I picked her up!
