I have only just started using this vets .I took my rabbits in for check ups and a neutor. My poor cat then got unwell and valley vets was my choice of vets after seeing how kind and gentle gordan was with my rabbits .unfortunately diagnosis wasn't good and the rest of my beloved Jessie care was handled with Laura. Last night we gave our Jess her last kiss goodnight .laura and her staff were amazing and compassionate to not just the cat but to us her owners.i would 100% recommend these vets ! . Read Less

Rip off! Just been charged £35 for a dwarf hamster consultation (after 30 mins waiting after my appointment time). They didn't even pick the hamster up, the consultation lasted less than 3 minutes to be told to keep an eye on it. I understand there is a flat fee for consultation, but you have to keep things into perspective. I run my own business and I would never dream doing this to my customers. Read Less

my name is Joanne ,owner of Bailey,Indy,Woody the golden retrievers and Barney SImba and Spyder the cats plus a few rabbits,my pets are my babies and the care you receive at valley Caerphilly from Gordon and Laura,the vets ,Hannah .lauren and Katie the nurses,and Helen the receptionist is first class, nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff at Caerphilly,its a place where the vets actually listen to what you are saying,over the years i have spent many hours at caerphilly but always know my pets are in the best possible hands ..Everyone at Caerphilly takes an interest,you are always kept in touch with phonecalls to let you know how your pet is if he/she has to stay in for treatment.,another thing with valley vets you can keep the same vet all the way from your initial visit right through any treatment that maybe needed,indeed i have had many phonecalls to see how things are even after tretment has finished. valley vets add the personal touch,and always end the visit with that all important treat for your pet,,i cannot thank valley vets enough and i know my fur kids are in full agreement ... Words cannot express our gratitude to Gordon and his amazing team at Valley Vets Caerphilly. They have looked after our two goldies Will 11 yrs old and Rosie 3 since they were pups. Will has suffered with arthritis for a few years but thanks to his medication was happy and pain free until October 2015 when his arthritis became much worse and he was unable to weight bear on his back leg, causing him to be in a lot of pain. He was referred to Bristol animal hospital where he had the hock joint in his back leg fused. While there he became very distressed and chewed at the wire cage causing a lot of damage to his mouth and teeth. We where so pleased to bring him home where under the care of Valley Vets his mouth was treated and several damaged teeth removed. Not long after this Will began vomiting and following an endoscopy was found to have a stricture in his oesophagus causing problems with swallowing. During the months that Will was poorly the whole team has been amazing. They are professional friendly and have provided excellent care and prompt treatment and have treated Will with kindness and respect. They have also been exceptionally thoughtful supportive and reassuring towards us during a very stressful time, constantly checking Will's progress by phone between visits to the surgery.
