We came to have our dog micro-chipped under the free scheme the vet service is offering, which cannot be faulted. We were waiting some time, at which point my father asked why we were being made to wait when numerous customers who came in after us went straight in to be seen. We said we thought it was because we weren't paying we were being treated as a second class customer. The receptionist told us at this point, if we didn't like it, there's the door, go somewhere else and pay. Now I think the free service is fantatic, but even if customers aren't paying they should still be offered good service. Worst was that when he manager arrived back from a break, the receptionist was unprofessional, she instantly said Oh I'm glad your back, I have an awkward customer. The manager came to speak to us and we explained we thought we were being treated badly because we weren't paying, and the manager said that would never happen. We said, well your receptionist just told us there's the door, at which point the receptionist lied denying she had ever said such a thing. Disgraceful behaviour from someone who should be more professional, may not have paid for this service, but I would now never pay to use the service at Ash's, and I will never visit that vet again.
