We rushed to Sherwood vets in sunbury with our little dog that was choking and couldn’t breathe. We’ve moved and they were the closest vets to us, even though we are not registered there they swung into action took her from me and rushed her into the treatment room,I was hysterical after giving her mouth to mouth the whole way and trying to keep her alive, we were treated with such kindness and I cannot express my gratitude enough as they saved my little girl. I have been using the Hampton practise for several years, always satisfied that they have excelled themselves in doing the best for my dogs, this year begining in April 2018 they rose the standard yet again, my Spaniel Skye was pregnant they treated her with care & love it was if they were treating their own dog, after whelping Skye found it difficult to recover from the trauma of pregnancy, birth & caring for 9 puppies, David was amazing he used all his experience to reach the cause of the issue.....Thank you. Going the extra mile Rachel 5* service, one of Skye puppy's developed a Urinary tract tnfection at 8 weeks old, Rachel contacted me direct giving an update on her recovery, and she delivered her home after her treatment as my car was in the garage. I would like to thank Max for saving my 6 month old puppy’s life! We took Scout in for a skin rash only for Max to pick up that she had a congenital heart defect! So this was picked up by chance and it was because he chose to do a thorough examination and not rush the appointment. Sophie, another lovely vet, immediately confirmed this and scanned Scout’s heart the next day. We got a very quick referral to Queen Mother Hospital. Scout had her procedure done today and her future looks bright. If it wasn’t for Max, doing a thorough examination, the condition would have worsened leading to congestive heart failure, and death, most probably in months. Scout’s next 24 hours are critical but the team at QMH say that this was one of their most straight forward cases- one of the easiest they have dealt with. Thank you Max for noticing this! We have used Sherwoods for 11 years and they have always given us good service. Last Friday week we tested them for the first time properly with an emergency visit with our cat who had a gaping wound. They stayed open for us to bring him in, operated to give him stitches straight away and then brought him back to Hampton for us the next day. At the other vets they talked about chemo tablets etc etc where as Max was focused on completing the right tests to provide a diagnosis and thankfully it isn't cancer.
