⚠️ Goddard Veterinary Group had over £10,000 from me for mammary cancer surgery for my baby girl Lola, an intelligent and strong bully girl who fought hard to stay with me, and I her. I was rejected from my insurance, and Goddard refused to help in any way, so I had to use my savings, and put about £6,000 on my credit cards, in trying to save her. A few weeks later, their tactless and callously abusive vet who in the same sentence as was telling me my girl wouldn't make it from a uterine infection that had occurred due to her low immune system recovering from surgery, also stated it was, and I quote, "my fault she was dead, for not getting her fixed;" they're a disgustingly cold and money hungry practise, and they all should be deeply ashamed to work for such a company. They have spent countless hours and resources squeezing me for the debt over the last few years, never once offering any help with the situation. They have now sent me to collections on the final few hundred, after I asked them to clarify my remaining amounts. I advise everyone I know and meet with pets not to use their services unless absolutely necessary, as they are only concerned about the money, and i feel treatment is often substandard (see other reviews online to corroborate these observations). There are many other veterinary practices and emergency vet hospitals out there who will actually value you and your beloved friends, you have been warned.. ⚠️ Read Less

My 10 year old dog Buddy, went in for a routine skin tag removal, which went very well. His post op care required him to have some oral painkillers, which he had received previously without problem. This time it triggered severe gastritis and he got very sick, fast. Throughout this time Goddard’s staff were on hand to advise me and see Buddy. At his worst, he was admitted for three night- when his outcome was uncertain. Thankfully he is much better now, getting stronger each day and this is because of the strong clinical team and treatment plan given to him. The receptionists were brilliant, listening to my dogs symptoms and getting the appointments I needed. The nurses deserve praise for their hard work and compassion, Zoe and the head nurse (sorry your name escapes me!) and all the others that cared for my pooch day and night, thank you. Heart felt thank goes to night shift vet, José and day vet Ellie, both were in regular contact, keeping me in the picture at every stage. Not to forget the kind natured Alexandra, these vets are clinically excellent but also showed genuine compassion for my dog. All three were key in the journey that brought Buddy back home. I cannot thank you enough. Sometimes as pet parents, we get forget that there is limit as to what can be done. Not every animal can be saved, even with the best care. But the vets at Goddard’s will ensure your pet gets the best possible chance- isn’t that all we really want? Read Less

I can not recommend this vets practice enough. Rory on reception, who has exceptional people and animal skills is outstanding and ensures both pets and owners are made to feel welcome, he is a credit to this practice. Also Abbie and Alonzo are in my opinion, the best Vets in the country. I would go as far to say they are magical as they have saved my dogs life on more than one occasion and the passion they have for animals to ensure they get first class treatment is outstanding. I highly recommend this practice and all of the staff who work there. Read Less

If I could I would put 0 stars. I dont know who in their right mind would give his hospital anything above 2 stars. They tried to force me to put my cat down, with a cost of an additional £300.00. They did a scan to confirm my cats liver was damaged and has a tumour. Although this information is correct, my cat is still enjoying the quality of life 5 months later. He returned from the hospital traumatised, scared and in tears. They DO NOT CARE about your pets and are so quick to give up on them. The doctor who scanned him was completely insensitive, robotic and stand off-ish, he was pushing for my cat to be put down. Since coming back from the hospital I have seeked other veterinary advice. The other vet provided my cat with steroids to reduce the tumor inflammation. I have also done my research and changed my cats diet completely, I've also started giving him daily vitamins and milk thistle. He has been doing great and if I didn't know about his medical condition I'd say he is perfectly healthy. Please do your research and AVOID this hospital!! If I did not fight for my cat he would not be here today! Please be careful. Read Less

Poor insurance claim admin lets this vet down. I have no issue with the treatment my dog received but I do take issue with their administration and for this reason will not use them again. We had an emergency visit on 24th Dec with our French Bulldog and treatment was ok, however when I sent them the insurance paperwork to complete on 2nd Jan I received an automated reply saying it would be dealt with. I called on Saturday 6th to ask for update and was told it had been totally overlooked and not actioned. This in my opinion is unacceptable. Their systems / processes on admin are clearly weak and this should not happen. It is very straightforward. Why should I waste my time chasing? It was never going to get picked up unless I called. I pay up on the day and expect them to do their part with the claim. I am sure this wouldn't have happened if they were waiting for the insurance money. Please take note of this. We took our rescue bulldog in to get registered. We'd only had her 4 days and she'd had a very difficult life. The vets primary concern was what insurance we had. We had all the papers from the previous owners and gave this to the vet who clearly did not read through them as she wanted to test her dry eyes which was in her paperwork. Because of this our dog was obviously stressed so the vet said she would take her out the back to test them. Unbeknownst to us they muzzled her and she collapsed and died. It was a horrific experience and could have been avoided had the vet had even a remote knowledge of brachycephalic breeds. We now use, Daniel Doherty of MyVet 24/7. I booked a physiotherapy appointment for my dog which Goddard's, Mandeville Road, Northolt only hold on a Wednesday afternoon. I explained when I made the appointment I could only do 4.30pm to 6.20pm due to work commitments - the physio booked me 4.45pm. The day before my dogs appointment, a receptionist called me to see if I could come in earlier. I explained I'd already said I could only make 4.30pm at the earliest, so he said it would be left as 5pm - I said, "You mean 4.45pm?" He confirmed that was correct. Later that day I had a message asking me to contact the reception team. I ended up speaking to the physiotherapist directly as I couldn't get hold of the person who could help me on reception. The physio said she only works consecutively so if I couldn't come in earlier she'd need to cancel me. She offered me another appointment a week later, but what if the same thing happened & they'd need to cancel again as I can't get in any earlier than 4.30pm on a Wednesday?! I don't think it's good enough to cancel on me for the reasons stated & not be able to offer me an appointment for a whole week. If they did daily physio appointments it wouldn't be as bad. I'd actually changed my work schedule to accommodate the appointment as Wednesdays aren't a good day for me to take time off, but flexibility, it seems, isn't a strength of the physio side of Goddard's, Mandeville Road, Northolt so I'm now left looking for another physio who has more appointments to offer on more than one day a week, even though Goodard's has been my vet for the past five years or so. Taking money for the time they wastedIs it money making Vet? I decided to write a revue because its not the first time, that I have been disappointed while visiting this hospital. First time it was when I came in with the enquiry about the price for hip scoring, the answer - 800, Contacted the vet hospital in Farnham -154! Ok, an hour drive, the dog was not stressed at all, work done, perfect results arrived. Decided to book an appointment for eye test with Mandeville vets again. On the day, the nurse was wonderful, applied eye drops for the dog, then Ms S.Turner started examining the dog, checked both eyes, then did some checks, couldnt find position how to finish because the dog was stressed, test was not done. Well, its 2 year old Border collie, dear doctor what do you expect, that the dog will sit still when you shine a torch into her eyes? When we were leaving, then Ms Turner told me I have to take money for my time. Paid the money, test not done. Next day, booked the appointment with other vet hospital, everything went smoothly, got the results. A.Broshchak Read Less

Went there with an emergency, my dogs had got ahold of and ate tablets. The staff are genuinely nice people, who care about you and the animals. The vet was very clear and informative as to what the best options would be. The costs are a bit much but I guess if you want the best care for your pets, this is the place to go. I would recommend this service to everyone. Read Less
