We have been taking our dogs to Blythwood for over 17yrs now and cannot praise it enough. We have never received anything but the best of care. One of our dogs suffers with numerous conditions including poor skin, alopecia and recurring ear infections. Each time we attend Blythwood (sometimes as often as twice a week!!!) we are always treated with utmost respect, understanding and patience from from all members of the team. I cannot thank them enough.

Having celebrated Millies 14th Birthday last week I wanted to say a massive thank you to Bradley Viner, Ollie Viner and team for your unrivalled care, due diligence and expertise having thought we were going to lose her from a nasty pyometra. You cared for her as if she was your own, keeping us informed every-step of the way and assisting in out of hours advice in her recovery. A risky life saving operation which could have easily ended differently without the expertise and compassion of your team . It's with thanks to you she now has a new lease of life and is living out her golden days in the pampered way she deserves. Thank you doesn't begin to explain how grateful we are we have and will continue to highly recommend you. X

We have been going to Blythwood since my Weimeraner joined our family at 8 weeks old. We attended their puppy socialisation classes which were of great benefit to our new puppy. Over the years we have had numerous visits to Blythwood for a variety of reasons but thanks to them she is still going strong at 12 1/2 years . Blythwood saved her life at the age of 8 after she was diagnosed with bloat, operating on her during the night over a weekend. The after-care she also received was amazing. The whole Blythwood team (and we've probably met most of them over the years) are incredibly caring, knowledgeable and professional and we highly recommend them.

We had an appt last Sat with our four rescue cats. There were notes on the files regarding all the cats and especially Holly, who is still part ferral and has been badly abused. We wanted the yearly shots plus nails cut for them all - we were unlucky to have Mr Bradley Viner as the vet. He told us the nails didnt need cutting as they were better left alone, he just didnt want to be there! Each cat he took less and less time with but Holly would not come out of her box, the ve...t just sat typing, no interaction with us or her, no ideas on how to help her, rude uncaring man, he shouldve retired a long time ago! An assisstant called Leanne was amazing, we took Holly into another room and managed to get her into a crush cage, we then waited for the vet to come in and give Holly her injection. We were both upset how Mr Viner treated us and especially the animals. He just couldnt be bothered, he should not have taken the appt if this is how he felt. He kost his passion fir the animals a long time ago, if he ever had it! See More

Visited the Bushey branch for the first time today with my huge Maine Coone cat, George, it was a Sunday, and we saw Charlotte. She was amazing!!! George won't normally go near strangers, but he relaxed straight away, and laid down on the table for Charlotte. The service we received was exceptional from the moment we walked in the door, lovely receptionist (sorry, didn't get your name), til the moment we left. So glad we came to you. I wouldn't take my dog Max anywhere else. We've used Blythwood for years, they're onto our 3rd dog I think now and many years ago Bradley used to look after my horse. We have been known to call them late at night when we have a worry and they are always patient no matter how silly our questions! And for the bigger stuff like when our dog passed away, they handled that beautifully as well. We really recommend them and Max our dog thinks Dan is the best, he saved him from a very embarrassing situation!

I rang the Stanmore surgery yesterday evening asking if I could have a home visit for my 16 yr old dog, Dan turned up at 10.30 this morning and gave a thorough examination, we took her for a little walk to check her gait and wobbly back legs. Dan then went through all our options but reassured me she didn't have any significant neurological symptoms, and is was probably overdoing it and cold weather aggravating her arthritis. He gave her an injection of cartrophen, which I will follow up over the next month....but, she has made a huge turnaround, when 'dad' came home her tail was wagging, no limping and then spent over 2 hrs stalking a fox in the garden!!! Brilliant service, brilliant Dan and how lovely he was with her and no lectures on her tubby belly, which we are well aware of and trying to reduce but she is an old lady and deserves a few luxuries. Thank you Dan and Louise for helping my little old lady so quickly, efficiently and with care and compassion. You're worth every penny I hope you enjoy the chocolates I left for you. Just wanted to say a huge Thank you to the whole of the Bushey team and in particular to Daniell and Barry for the care and concern they showed during the long process of fixing Riley Eustace after he came off worst in his argument with a car. Right from the begining when he was first admitted as an out of hours emergency, Riley received the best that could be hoped for and I think it would be fair to say that Dan is an excellent addition to the team.

Having just returned from Moldova - where you may ask - where I saw many a skinny waif looking dog I was reminded how lucky we are in the UK to have vets like Blythwood around. My heavily spoilt spaniel was born with rather random hips and had to have surgery last year . The vets at Blythwood were brilliant at both helping Beau and his anxious mistress through the surgery and long difficult recovery period. Vets, nurses and front of house staff are all brilliant and to anyone out there looking for a vet you won't ever do better than going to Blythwood Vets.

in my opinion a very good vet service which i used when my dog was alive. they saw my dog late at night and were very helpful when he started getting convulsions.

Over the years we have had numerous visits to Blythwood for a variety of reasons but thanks to them she is still going strong at 12 1/2 years . I rang the Stanmore surgery yesterday evening asking if I could have a home visit for my 16 yr old dog, Dan turned up at 10.30 this morning and gave a thorough examination, we took her for a little walk to check her gait and wobbly back legs. Dan then went through all our options but reassured me she didn't have any significant neurological symptoms, and is was probably overdoing it and cold weather aggravating her arthritis. He gave her an injection of cartrophen, which I will follow up over the next month....but, she has made a huge turnaround, when 'dad' came home her tail was wagging, no limping and then spent over 2 hrs stalking a fox in the garden!!! Brilliant service, brilliant Dan and how lovely he was with her and no lectures on her tubby belly, which we are well aware of and trying to reduce but she is an old lady and deserves a few luxuries. Thank you Dan and Louise for helping my little old lady so quickly, efficiently and with care and compassion. You're worth every penny I hope you enjoy the chocolates I left for you. Just wanted to say a huge Thank you to the whole of the Bushey team and in particular to Daniell and Barry for the care and concern they showed during the long process of fixing Riley Eustace after he came off worst in his argument with a car. Right from the begining when he was first admitted as an out of hours emergency, Riley received the best that could be hoped for and I think it would be fair to say that Dan is an excellent addition to the team.

Having just returned from Moldova - where you may ask - where I saw many a skinny waif looking dog I was reminded how lucky we are in the UK to have vets like Blythwood around. My heavily spoilt spaniel was born with rather random hips and had to have surgery last year . The vets at Blythwood were brilliant at both helping Beau and his anxious mistress through the surgery and long difficult recovery period. Vets, nurses and front of house staff are all brilliant and to anyone out there looking for a vet you won't ever do better than going to Blythwood Vets.

in my opinion a very good vet service which i used when my dog was alive. they saw my dog late at night and were very helpful when he started getting convulsions.
