I cannot see how anyone can give a poor rating for this team. I have been using Joel Vets for a few years now and have never had any complaints. I have always found them compassionate and very fair. They took such good care of my Sammy. At a moment's notice they took him in and treated him. Thanks to their dedication, and professionalism, I got to spend more time with my lovely boy, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart. Now, I have two other babies. Daisy and Teddy. They both receive the same caring treatment as my Sammy did. I would recommend their services to anyone. They have a wonderful holistic approach to all their clients as well as their pets. Wish I could put 0. Absolutely shocking money making machine, which has left my poor cat in pain and unwell. She suffers from bad allergies, which can get out of hand fast leading to large rashes that bleed and get infected. She has had the same for 10 years, and in these cases only a steroid injection works. They know her well now, have 10 years worth of medical history and treatments, yet when we called a few weeks back to explain, and despite the pictures sent, they refused to see her. Receptionist said they would try the tablets, when told that this would not work given the extend of her rash and bleeding she said they were different tablets. We pleaded, but no one would see her. We were charged over £90 for these supposedly different tablets (now if a different treatment existed, why would you not prescribe it for the past 3 years??) and antibiotics. Treatment was exactly the same one as usual, and now the receptionist is blatantly lying saying she never said this. Why on Earth would we have been ok with getting a treatment that has failed repeatedly!!! The amount of tablets to give her daily ended up making her terribly sick, she would have the worst diarreha several times a day, anywhere, on herself, absolutely awful, while her rash showed no improvement whatsoever apart from less infection. Obviously while the infection was gone for a while, as the original problem was not solved properly, it came back within 2 weeks while her rash grows bigger and bloodier everyday. We can follow her tracks just by following the blood. When we called again today, not only the receptionist was extremely rude and LIED, they refused to see her again. I have never seen a place show so little care for the animals they are supposed to love and cure. I am disgusted, and my little boy us heartbroken and asking why the doctor wont see her and make her better. One injection is all it takes, and would have prevented weeks and weeks of suffering for her. But you charged us nearly £100 without even looking at her, but knowing it would not make a difference.
