Their aim is the animals health, not rinsing you of your wealth. Friendly clean welcoming surgery. I recently had to have my beloved Rottweiler Lexi put to sleep. Kirstie Copp and the team were absolutely brilliant in assisting me at a very difficult time. They carried out a home visit and arranged for Lexi's cremation. Took my rabbit to the harefield one yesterday. Saw a boy vet. He said she wasnt walking right coz her claws are long. Shes making that noise as she has a infection. Well i got her home she couldnt walk sat in the corner all day night she died during the night. All they wanted was the money for the meds he didnt check her properly now i feel like i left ny pet rabbit in pain all night. Cathy and her staff offered a way to test my dogs growth when our previous vet said there was nothing they could do. They discovered it was cancerous and rushed her into surgery the next day. It was much cheaper than my previous vet (probably because they are a not for profit organisation / charity), and Lucy is now 17 years old, having had an extra 4 years of happy life thanks to the team here. I have had numerous 5 minute check-ins for which I have not been charged. This is the first vet where I am 100% sure that the people there are in it for the care and love of the animals and you could not have a better vet than this one, your pet deserves it! Read Less

Prices are competitive when writing this in 2016 ( I compared 3 local vets). Usually space to park car, receptionist and vets are attentive, considered, and explain processes when asked, this aspect was very important to me and why I return. Reception and consultation rooms are on the small side but clean. There are plains for expansion so the space issue might be addressed sometime soon. I was told my dog had s flea allergy and the flea treatment I was using (Advantage) was no good and they sold me Avocate. Was not happy as no fleas were found on my dog. I contacted Bayer who told me the substance for fleas in Advantage and Avocate were exactly the same ! I had a second opinion from a vet in Rickmansworth and was told my dog has a yeast infection. Needless to say I will not be using Arden House again. Read Less

I had to have my chihuahua, who was 9 years old put to sleep. The staff were amazing and were so understanding, they made the whole process easier to deal with. I now have his ashes which come in a lovely box. Thank you for making Oscar's last few moments peaceful xx Read Less

My dog Bertie is nearly 16 years old and been with this vet since he was a puppy. He has been very poorly the past 2 years, the vets have been wonderful in diagnosing/ treating him. Staff were very friendly and professional. We went for a dental check for our 2 dogs and the vet was really helpful and honest - she didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need which makes a change from some other vets! She seemed to really care about the animals. I would definitely trust Arden House Ruislip with my dogs. The only downside is that I think they are a little on the expensive side, but then I guess you get what you pay for! Read Less
