We adopted 2 cats over a year ago and Martin came highly recommended by the Cats Protection Society. And quite rightly! He demonstrates exceptional patience and is a very friendly and knowledgeable veterinary surgeon. I would not consider ever going to another vets. I took my puppy for Chip and vaccines and Martin was great with her. He has also helped hugely with her passport and all we needed so far. He is attentive and email us with all details. Im really greatful, we have found great Vet! :) Read Less

I travel quite a distance to get to this vet and I am delighted with the service. Many clinics are part of chains which offer a random service. Martin is a very knowledgable vet a mind a great surgeon. Very good for animal passports. Parking is limited but it's easy to find sparking space nearby on a side street right next to a park. So far so good with my 10 months Pomeranian, Leon. We've been with this clinic since he was 8 weeks and other than the regular jabs and checks, I also had to take out 4 of his puppy canines and the procedure went on without issues. When I came to pick him up he was fully awake and happy like nothing had happened. I guess it can be a bit pricey depending on what your pet needs but hey, if you can't afford it, don't get a pet I'd say!Read Less

On of the best veterinary practises I've ever been too. Clearly the above 2 comments are made out of ignorance and anger. It's so nice to actually go to a practise where the vet has general care for the animal, and not the money he will make. His prices are fair, and the treatment both him and his nurses give are 5* star quality. He has plenty of experience with both small and larger animals. I know that many of his clients would agree. I'd definetly recommend this place as great care of your animal is guaranteed.Read Less

I so wish that I had read the above comment before taking my sister's rabbit to St Martins. Charlie only went in for routine filing of teeth. When completed was told he was bleeding from his mouth, query cause. Went to my sister's to check Charlie's teeth to find him struggling to move, became apparent when I picked him up his back legs were dangling. Returned to vets in complete shock to be told after an xray that he had a severed back and had to be put to sleep. Too upset, shocked and appalled. I don't normally write on reviews, however strongly don't won't any other animals to go through what happened to Charlie.Read Less

Not good with small animals. Our rat had an abscess and was pretty much butchered and died as she wasn't kept warm throughout the surgery. After speaking to other vets after we wished we'd have never bothered. To drain an abscess is a supposedly small and simple procedure. We then had to pay nearly 100 for his services. Disgusting!
