My dog was 4 months old when she broke her back leg. John the owner of market cross was very very helpful and did a perfect fix. The service is out of this world. Now lovi is six and a half years and no problems with the leg😁. She's in getting a toe removed that is causing constant pain. All the vets here are so friendly and seem to really really love animals. Been bringing my cat here for over a year and they've always taken really good care of him. Prices can be a little steep sometimes but would still definitely recommend. Read Less

Highly recommend this vets. The staff are excellent, the service is great, the prices are reasonable and the practice is always spotless. I have never had to wait as they are always ready to take you at the appointment time and they are super friendly and great with my cat. Made me feel very reassured when i was worried about him and confident leaving him in their care when i had never done it before. Correspondence has always been brilliant too. Very poor service. Claim to have sent out invoices which never arrived. Failed to take into consideration a request for alternate contact due to customer mental health problems. This resulted in the debt being unnecessarily sent to a debt collection agency which further increased the burden on their client and did not help with the mental health problems. Failed to put postage stamps on letters sent to their client causing further financial burden and stress which caused their client to self harm (perhaps this is why no invoices arrived). Have the temerity to call and hassle client today, despite debt being serviced. Initially refused to comply with request to remove details from system for any letters, calls etc, thus proving they dont give a damn, only backed down when threatened with being reported for harassment. Also has an ability to loose pets as I have seen a nurse in full uniform chasing a dog up the street and asking passers by if they saw the direction the dog ran off in, had to be assisted by an SSPCA officer which was a complete waste of his time and I wonder if the owners were ever informed of this? A truly horrible Vets run by truly horrible people with no respect for their clients or their wishes.Read Less

Market Cross Vet, in my humble opinion, with my zoo of animals, is the best clinic in Scotland. I've been using them for over 5 years Have rushed in with emergencies and been seen immediately/staff have said back late (Sorry!) Have rushed in with looks-worse-than-it-is things and never been made to feel like a fool. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and most if all, honest. Practice is clean and well presented.
