Westport Veterinary Clinic is a locally owned, independent practice, dedicated to providing the best possible care to your pets. We have been serving the local community for over 30 years.
We have dedicated dog and cat wards, recovery kennels, digital x-ray (including dental) and ultrasound while also offering complete soft-tissue and orthopaedic surgeries in our full sterile theatre.
We have laboratory facilities that allow us to run a number of in-house tests, with all results assessed by our highly skilled team of Veterinary Surgeons.
We are also excited to offer Ophthalmology consultations and acupuncture treatments.
We also offer our Friends of Westport plan - a preventative health care plan with full routine vaccination cover as well as year round flea, worming and lungworm / tick cover. Our clinical team will advise you on in order to provide the best possible care for your pet.

Jerry is very experienced & knowledgeable. He has a 2nd premises in Queensferry where he has a surgery to perform operations. Been with him for 6 years. Wendy the receptionist is fantastic too. Lovely...

Very friendly and helpful on the phone. My dog had wasps stuck in her fur. I rang the vets and the staff on the phone gave me plenty of advice on what to do and what look out for. I am very greatful!

We have been taking our cats and dogs to Drum brae vets for many years. From the moment you walk in, the receptionist makes you and your pet feel at ease..
Gerry recently came to our house to put our old cat to sleep. She had been with us for 20yrs, so you can imagine how we felt to lose her. Gerry was so compassionate and gentle with Fudge and so comforting to my family. Can not recommend him high enough!

All 3 of my dogs are cared for by these vets and I couldn't be happier with the care and attention they receive from routine vaccinations to complicated surgery. Cost is reasonable considering I have Rottweilers but they are all insured so every one can relax and concentrate on the dogs welfare and not the cost.

His "last service" to an animal is perfect too, very professional and with great compassion shown to both animal and person...very fair prices and is helpful with payment. Highly recommend.

In Jerry I found a caring compassionate knowable and friendly vet! Always looking to offer best care and was always price sensitive.Great practice, good nursing staff and value for money. please if you are considering taking your pet here dont ! he is operation happy. he does any op just for the money. me and my family have took our pets to other vets after him and they have all be horrified to see what hes done. all the ops where unnecesary and damaging to our pets he never even considers the pets age or health and gives out bad advice.
