We have been using Havens for the better part of 20 years. We have had occasion to.use them for a variety of pets with various ailments. Havens have always been very caring and considerate not just of our pets needs but also of ours. The costs are not too high. But their standards are the highest. I would highly recommend them. Took our cat for claw clipping and injections today, he needed a clean up when we got there as he is not good in the car, everyone was lovely and helpful as usual, after a check up and treatment we were on our way home again and ready for another clean up!! 😼 Read Less

I can't thank Ricardo and rest of the staff at Haven enough for how they have been with me and my dog. Giggs was viciously attacked and has had to have his eye removed. Ricardo and all of the staff have been nothing but kind, supportive and reassuring through this horrible ordeal. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone. Read Less

I took my Syrian hamster here as he had hurt his tail and I was worried it might be infected. The vet was unsympathetic, and told me my hamster was very sick and lethargic (he had just woken up so was a bit bleary eyed). She also told me that the infection had spread to my hamster's spine (he was old and had been having trouble with his back legs for a while, I told her this but she just ignored me). She basically said he was very ill and was going to die, but she would prescribe some antibiotics, and if he was still alive, to take him back after a few days. They charge 40 for this 5 minute "consultation" and some antibiotics. Needless to say I did not go back, and my hamster did live a good few months after this. Staff are unbelievably rude and just wanted to know how fast you could pay your vet bills. Massively overpriced, and have no consideration to how much your pet means to you. Don't even consider this vet practice, highly recommend you find another!!! I don't think my cat will make it through the night and this practice knows about his potential hereditary kidney failure! Can't thank ALL the staff enough, having x2 chihuahuas which are nervous before we started, they soon calmed them down for checking them over for passports and vaccination, our Mr Darcey had to have some dental work done and again BRILLIANT customer/pet care and aftercare. They treated the stray cat i found very well. It recovered from being spayed very quickly. It was maybe 50 more expensive than I was expecting but under 235 so it was acceptable. My only minor gripe was communication. I informed the receptionist of my needs and the vet but later the nurse rang to ask me if i wanted the flea and worm treatment that I'd already requested twice before. Also I did wait 30 minutes past the time I was asked to pick her up which I didn't mind as I had a car but I did notice a taxi outside waiting for someone. Read Less

We are taking Woody to socialising as we cannot get him in the vets.We are seeing a vetenary nurse called Holly who is outstanding with Woody and though we have not got him in the building yet he is making progress and today was a milestone we got him to the door .Well done Holly great stuff back next week hopefully more progress. went to the vet friday and came away puzeled no treatment's and asked to return monday for tests so saterday made a new apointment with a lovely "old school" vet who gave all three cats a good old check-up and made me feel so much more comfortable with what treatment was given all the stalf are always a plesure to see , talk and have a good laugh with, the only down side to haven veterinary is the excessive pricing I previously checked for pricing for meds "isathal" eye drops "online" thay were 7 at haven i was quoted 44 posibly i herd wrong i hope so but would not be suprised and they cant be gotten without a perscription and that would cost 15 last visit costs consultation for 3X cats antibiotic injection for 3X cats ( lasts for 14 days ) isathal drops for 3X cats bisolvon oral powder for 2X kittens total cost 199.22 (averageing out to 66.40 each ) plus 18 for 3 good make collar hoods ( cones of shame ) we all will pay what ever we have to for are lovely pets regardles of price and the service is good but still so priceyRead Less

Amazing care and compassion shown over the last few months while looking after our 13 year old Staffie Ellie, sadly Ellie was too ill and had to be put to sleep last week the staff have been fantastic from the horrible day last week to collecting her ashes today we would not go anywhere else. I just rang your out of hours surgery explained about my budgie being ill and having breathing problems. I also explained that i don't claim benefits but I'm on a low income with 5 children and get paid in two weeks was told that you won't see him unless I pay 145+vat and if his alive in the morning to ring back .... very caring I must admit I just hope now my kids don't wake up in the morning to a dead budgie. I was not happy that Cody had to stay in overnight but, get over it Dave! It's not about what I want, it's about what's best for Cody. We've had Cody since he was 10 weeks old and I wouldn't trust anyone else to look after him for his medical needs and the same with Ellie his sister. Cody had a big op Friday 1 July and he's got a huge wound from it but, thanks to Emily and the staff, he's home, he's alive and he's just had some lunch!
