At Companion Care we know your pet is a much loved part of the family and you want them to enjoy a long, healthy life. This is why our veterinary teams, made up of animal loving experts, firmly believe in providing the highest level of care and treating every pet they see like they would their own. Every Companion Care practice is equipped with the latest in technology, which means we can offer your pets the personalised care they need. Our practices are also designed to make your pet’s time with us as comfortable as possible; just like kids don’t always like going to the dentist, we know pets don’t always like going to the vets! Our waiting areas are light and spacious (and with floors that can cope with little accidents) and we also have separate dog and cat wards so your pet can recuperate more comfortably after any treatment. Our vets will explain all clinical terms so you fully understand what is happening to your pet and you are fully involved in their treatment plan. This also includes being completely transparent in our pricing, so you can make an informed choice on the treatment that you want your pet to receive. Come and see for yourself at your local Companion Care, why not take a practice tour?
Really pleased with this vet, friendly staff and always seen quickly. Genuinely care about their customers and their pets. Always willing to help.

Been going to Companion Care for the past 3 years now for my dog, always had a very good experience with them but especially yesterday. My poor dog is reactive to other dogs and people so it's quite a stressful experience going to the vets and having to wait in the waiting area therefore I try and put off getting his nails clipped often, yesterday they told me that I could go round the back and straight into the room, I cannot tell you how much this has affected our visits to the vet now, we're both a lot less stressed and anxious about the whole thing. They also take him into the back to get someone to assist clipping his nails as I can't restrain him, they are always unbelievably helpful here, can't recommend them enough! Read Less

If I could give no stars I would. All the staff, nurses and vets are this practice are excellent but we were particularly pleased we were assigned Stephan when we had to take our cat Humph in today to have his eyes examined. He was so gentle and caring with his patient that all of Humph's nervousness and anxiety melted away; we cannot praise his cage-side manner too highly. Also, as we had been mistaken in thinking there was something wrong he only charged us for a 'second consult' instead of what it would've been had Humph needed treatment. As it was, the cat was thoroughly checked over and examined (and weighed ... whoops!) so it was great to be given a clean bill of health - apart from having to cut down on Humph's meal sizes. I came in today with my cat for a vet appointment in a panic since she had managed to break her pet carrier on the way over. I was immediately helped by several members of staff who showed me where to find their carriers, and then took her into a back room to move her from one carrier to the other safely.
She was then seen by a lovely nurse who showed real compassion towards her and alleviated my worries about her health.
Every member of staff that I spoke to was friendly and supportive. I never felt anything was too much trouble.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new vets. I will without a doubt be coming back to them in the future. Read Less

Had a petplan with them and my cat ran away so cancelled the plan. Got an email saying that they would be in touch soon with an invoice for how much extra I owed. Heard nothing for at least a few weeks, then went on holiday for 2 weeks. Got back to find 3 letters through my door 1st stating I had 7 days to pay (dated the day after I left). A second saying you need to pay again within 7 days (dated 6 days later) and a 3rd saying they were going to get debt collectors after me! All in less than 2 weeks. I had the money to pay and was waiting on them, but apparently the person dealing with it wasnt there. Not even an apology. No compassion or customer service whatsoever! Would not use them for future pets! Read Less
