From the moment you ring up to book in your get friendly helpful staff. And it dose not end there, you walk in and greated by the same warmth as you did on the phone. The vets and nurses are passionate about the job you can really tell. And it's not just one practice the one on crossey is the same from what I no from my visit. They have been out of this world for me. I have rang and asked for advice and they have helped on the phone. I always recommend taverham vets. Wouldnt go anywhere else.. A great big thank you to every one that works for taverham vets. From cleaners as it's always clean, to the people on the desk and the nurses and vets. Read Less

I have been meaning to leave a review here for a while. Amazing what a little carrot can do! There are several reasons why l rate Taverham so highly but the most stand-out of these, is that l am treated with respect. Having been a breeder since 1983, l have inevitably built up considerable knowledge by experience. I am not a vet., but nobody at Taverham feels threatened by me. This is unlike so many practices, l am sorry to say. My Cavaliers are monitored and treated for the heart problems which plague the breed and the reasons for the meds are explained to me. My questions are answered fully and my input regarding my observations are taken into account. Sometimes this is by email..... which, living over an hour away, has often been reassuring without needing to make an appointment. When my dogs have needed anaesthesia, l have been able to stay with them till they are totally relaxed. One of my bitches had a laparoscopic spay recently, the recovery period is minimal and a traditional spay now seems barbaric to me. But to recap, being treated with respect is hugely important. Veterinary treatment should be an equal partnership between owner and vet. At Taverham, it is.Read Less

Oscar and myself would like to say a huge thank you to all of the staff at Taverham vets who have helped us recover from his operation for elbow dysplasia. Special thanks to Guy who did the operation, the nurses who cared for him afterwards and to Lottie and the girls who helped him during his hydrotherapy sessions, and to Sarah the physio, I really can't thank you all enough. Oscar is now fighting fit and enjoying his runs on the fields with his big brother Ollie. Read Less

Yesterday we said a very sad farewell to our furry baby benji, he was the bestest dog any owner could ask for and I'm missing him dearly, our lives will never be the same. Taverham Vets especially Helen who was so honest with us made what was an awful situation very calming, she stayed over her working hours to see benji to the end which was so heart warming for her to do in her own time and she was generally very caring to our feelings from benjis point to ours. Can't thank Helen enough for making what was an awful situation into something so memorable. Read Less

I can not speak highly enough about the service I received at Taverham vets. My dog would not be alive now if it had not been for the expertise of the vets at the practice. Three times in an 18 month period my Labrador ate items blocking his intestines. All three times required extensive surgery. My dog has just turned 9 and leads a full working life. He was lucky to have made it past the age of 2! I take all my dogs to the practice and cannot recommend it highly enough Read Less
