Worst vets around, overpriced injections and willing to put your animals in danger to make more profits. 1 star is too high!

Dreadful vets! Our dog was terrified going there. They were rough, money-grabbing, imcompetent and lied to us to hide the fact our labrador had torn her nose trying desperately to get out of the cage she was in for 8 days following an operation! They rang us every day saying she was happy, eating and sleeping well and they just needed to keep an eye on her! We got suspicious after 8 days of this and went next day to fetch her home. I cried when they brought her out to us. Her nose was badly torn, they'd covered it with a load of white cream! Would recommend you stay clear of them! Re the 1 star.....you cannot write a review if you don't leave at least 1 star. She'd lost so much weight through pining and her neck was torn where the woman said they'd tied her to the cage at nights because she had 'ripped up her blanket'. Her neck was grazed and bleeding and she looked defeated! Has to be the worst vet ever! Read Less

These vets have always been good with our pets - they certainly deserve more reviews! Our (fussy) kittens underwent various inconclusive tests to diagnose their dodgy tummies when we got them & at the suggestion of the head nurse we tried a Royal Canin food. The difference was huge - all problems solved & they are still on it 3 or 4 years later.
We had regular visits from a stray cat so we took him in to see if he was microchipped. Just as the nurse was about to give up scanning the chip was found well down his back. She spent aaaages phoning various database companies & got a hit - she then got 4 numbers & called them all but there was no answer. Above & beyond the call of duty for a cat that wasn't actually registered with them (I visited the address but the family had left. The cat has now been re homed)
We took on an old poorly cat last year from ill relatives & although she ultimately had to be put to sleep the whole process was dealt with compassionately. The company they use for cremation was very good too & Grace's ashes came back in a lovely sleeping cat casket with her name on a brass plate underneath along with a condolences card.
On a lighter note we got a puppy a month or so ago. He had diarrhoea & blood in his poo and after the obligatory test to check nothing was amiss I again spoke to the head nurse who suggested a food which he has been on for a few weeks. This solved the issues, he loves the food & clearing up after him is so much easier!
Having pets is an expensive hobby but we're confident they are in good hands when we do need to visit. Read Less
