I feel so bitter against your practice the treatment my dog Sooty received there was NEGLECT and through your NEGLECT and incompetence my dog lost his life. You were contacted on Friday 13th January at 5.30 pm that evening by my husband that our dog wasn’t well - no appointment was offered according to the vets response on the phone he had flu - come down Monday morning if no improvement, that’s what we were told , My dog was ill all weekend and by Monday morning was paralysed in his rear legs ,we brought him to the practice and a young female vet checked his temperature -took photos of him PARALYSED , told us it was a neurological illness - injected him with a painkiller and did not do any other tests whatsoever , told us to come back down the following day- I had to carry my dog in and carry him out- by 8 o clock the same day my dog was TOTALLY PARALYSED he couldn’t even cry in pain his voice was PARALYSED too. Called the practice and came to see the Emergency Vet, who examined Sooty and stated he was now in severe PARALYSIS and would probably cost £1000s to treat him though he didn’t give out much hope, My dog had to be euthanised there and then. Totally devastating - through the neglect of your two earlier vets who should have treated Sooty and administerd hospital treatment MY DOG LOST HIS LIFE . Your new fancy multi million practice, has all the mod cons - but doesn’t employ all trained and competent vets to treat pets. Your practice killed my dog through neglect had he been seen on the Friday or admitted on the Monday morning he may have stood a chance- WHAT vet sends a paralysed pet home with a high temperature - a young trainee who doesn’t know her job that’s what. We public put our faith in you vets for our animals sake, you make us pay enough for you to treat them. Yes I am bitter very bitter my dog died through your negligence. Brenda Kemp Read Less

Amazing, highly recommend, kind staff who are more than willing to help, helped my guinea pigs many times now. On arrival at 11pm we saw the lovely vet who my puppy really liked she told me exactly what would happen and I left her after not leaving her anywhere over night before. I rang this morning and spoke to one of the nurses then got a phone call of my vet. Got to pick her up this morning where the receptionist where so kind and helpful and sorted the insurance details exc out for me made another appointment for a day and time that suited me. I now find I can buy treatment for ear mites from Pets AT Home who don't seem to have been bitten by a Dick Turpin bug (or Mite). I now find I can buy treatment for ear mites from Pets AT Home who don't seem to have been bitten by a Dick Turpin bug (or Mite). In conclusion, I now know why the Vets have such a high protective counter. Minus ***** L. Haymer Read Less
