My whole first experience with the Priory Vets was very Professional. Molly the receptionist gave excellent customer service and was very welcoming, friendly and professional. Claire the Vet was also extremely professional very kind, calm and reassuring as I am a bewildered new owner of a puppy, who unfortunately was under the weather and had been sick, so slightly stressed and anxious. Claire was gentle and gave some good advice and gave a full Puppy examination with some antibitics to help Puppy recover as a precaution with him being so young. I liked the practice and the team I met so far. I will also continue to use them as my veterinary practice and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone else. Read Less

Friendly and professional staff who always make you and your pet welcome. Really thorough examinations and everything is explained in detail as well as costs so there’s no surprises ! Lots of nurses that keep checking on pets in their care so always feel like ours are being well looked after if overnight stay is needed. It was also lovely to hear two different vets tell me about my elderly cats personality traits. It reassured me to know they had spent time to really get to know her which was very great to know when she had to stay in overnight. Excellent service. Read Less

The staff here are truly wonderful. They have been welcoming and friendly on all our visits. We have felt well informed of options and not pressured into decisions. Most recently our beloved dog Jenny passed away after a very short illness, but the support received by all the staff during and after this was amazing. Priory Vets is without doubt the Best Vets practice that we have been lucky enough to find. All the Staff are friendly caring and informative. There is always a lovely smile on the Receptionists Faces, which is so important in times of worry. Brian is a great Vet. He has a natural relaxed way with our two dogs and he is very caring and makes sure that he keeps you informed about every aspect of the treatment every step of the way.He never rushes, and has plenty of time to listen to any concerns that you may have and advise the best way forward. He is without doubt the best Vet we have ever been to, and we have been to quite a few in our time! Everyone I have had contact with at priory vets have been amazing they have always been friendly welcoming kind and caring But beyond that they have always gone above and beyond to help and support us when we are in a vulnerable position not knowing what is wrong with a well loved family member The bond and love we have with our pets ( babies ) is not only understood but replaced by them the moment they enter the door and although I adore my dogs and they are total blessing in my life They are just average dogs not super cute cuddly adorable that everyone when you walk down the road wants to stop and stroke At priory vets the love they pour over them makes them extra special. We come on holiday to Bridlington, and had an emergency with our 5 Month old Bulldog Hugo, upon arrival they already had all of Hugo's notes from our regular vets in Bradford and was really prepared. We now have all of Dogs registred with Priory as a backup on our weekends and cannot fault their efforts. Great service and a pleasure to deal with. Read Less

Really professional staff and vets. Outstanding help given to my animal and open consultation as to what the best way forward given the prognosis. I was listened to and having this breed of animal for over 30 years they knew I had experience of the breed. They did not insist in unnecessary treatment rather accepting that quality of life was paramount. End of life care for my animals I have experienced with this practice over the last ten years and cannot fault them at all dealing with my loved pets and easing them over when they can no longer cope with life. Looking after the humans too and allowing us time and space to say goodbye. I really feel that they too who have often know the animal for years are affected by what they have to do. What they do is hard at the end of life care and personally I am glad that my animals can have a peaceful stressful passing after perhaps years of discomfort. Read Less

Our dog:- chocolate poodle, Timothy, 12years old. I usually have a lady vet when I take Timmy for his yearly jab & check up, they always take time to make me feel that they care about my pet and they give him a very thorough check; this time it was a man, and the treatment Timmy received, to me, fell short of what I'm used to, he didn't even check Timmy's teeth. Priory Vets are fantastic, always there with a warm welcome ( or a box of tissues !!). I rang them on a Saturday morning, as my hamster was unwell, and they immediately let me come down to see a vet. The vet was great and after a good look at Honey he set my mind at rest, I really like the way they put your pets first wether it be a hamster or a dog, cat etc..... they are all treated the same, with sympathy and real feelings. I have used Priory Vets on several occasions now and would not use or trust any other Vets with my animals (4 Rabbits and 2 Dogs) The service was amazing putting me and my animals at ease when I have had to leave any of them. (Rabbits have had nails clipped, injections and my poor male Rabbits had a little operation so they can't have any bunnies). My dogs have also had to stay in for minor ops as they are getting old but I was happy that they were in safe hands. I would highly recommend Priory Vets to anyone.
