Took very good care of our girl when she became sick. She had to stay in a couple of nights and during that time she wouldn't eat the food offered to her. In order for her to come home she needed to eat to make sure she was keeping it down. Vet called me and asked what she likes in order to ger her to eat something. When I said she'd eat scrambled egg as she loves that the vet actually made her some. I don't know whether this is common practicein , but I do know it was very much appreciated. An outstanding practice. From when I arrived with my beloved dog boe, the vet and her staff were very professional. And unfortunately we had to make a decition to put her to sleep as she was 14yr old and not very well. Amazing, highly recommend, kind staff who are more than willing to help, helped my guinea pigs many times now. After being told by bridge street vets that my 4 month old guinea pig had to be put down for a broken leg i took her to aldgate today (the day after bridge street) because of her getting a poorly tummy off the medicine from bridge street. Aldgate was more than happy to look at her even about the broken leg, confirming that it wasnt broken and that if it was it would only be small and could heal. After having to take my puppy as an emergency last night I am very impressed. She ate something she wasn't supposed to and having never used the practice before as I have just registered as my vet moved here I was very apprehensive about taking her but the wonderful staff put me at ease. On arrival at 11pm we saw the lovely vet who my puppy really liked she told me exactly what would happen and I left her after not leaving her anywhere over night before. I rang this morning and spoke to one of the nurses then got a phone call of my vet. Got to pick her up this morning where the receptionist where so kind and helpful and sorted the insurance details exc out for me made another appointment for a day and time that suited me. Then saw a lovely nurse who was so helpful and so kind to myself and puppy then came home. So thankful to them all for making this stressful situation as easy as possible for me.Read Less

After a number of years as a customer I am very impressed with this practice. Very knowledgable staff. My most recent puppy has been unwell and had 8 injections in a week as a result. He still loves going to the practice despite all the jabs and it's absolutely everything to do with the quality care that is provided. Well done ! Read Less

He is an African Grey Parrot and this practice does not rate themselves as 'Avian' as such. However, the vet who saw Davey after he had an altercation with a door, was first class. Aldgate vets are the very best. So helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Vets and staff alike cannot be faulted. They are first class. Vets Daniel and David are exceptional, and go above and beyond to put you and your pets at ease. It means such a lot to have vets that we trust with our " babies. " Both David and Daniel have operated on our dog Jess, she is now doing fantastic due to them. We would not take them anywhere else. Daniel has even wrote to our insurers on our behalf, as the insurers wouldn't pay out. I cannot thank him enough. I would highly recommend Aldgate vets, I cannot praise them enough! Brilliant service from a dedicated team from vet, receptionists and admin. Daisy May passed away overnight on 15th May in the surgery and we have nothing but praise for everyone involved. What can I say, all the staff are so friendly and offer great support and advice. Millie, my German Shepherd feels nervous and shakes when she goes to the vets, the staff here talk to her to help calm her, once in consultation she even gets cuddles and strokes and even has a cute nick name. The vet staff are amazing with her, we're very grateful for all that they do and what they have done to support millie through her medical conditions, such a wonderful team. I'm literally here all the time with 2015 been the most unluckiest year for me with my white snow leopard bengal shot with an air rifle, they looked after him greatly and removed the bullet 1 week later he was sadly ran over and killed.. his mother was nursed by Gill for weeks with a pyothorax but it was just too late. Oliver was hit in the eye and it now partially sighted then after all that we got molly our loverly black lab who was recently discovered to of had severe hip dysplasia and degenerate bone disease she's had a full knee replacement and She just loves David. This gives you an idea of how much we dote on all gate vets there like our family and without them we wouldn't of been able to manage. By loosing 2 animals so dear to us also. They are emotially attached aswell. They give the best care in the world and show so much appreciation even when you are left with hurrendious vets bills. again to all the Allgate vet team you do a tremendous job.Read Less

I can not praise this surgery enough for their care and attention they provide my pets. Their out of hours service is quick and works very effectively, they have always treated my pets like they would treat their own which is full of love and respect. Their advice is second to none and their reception staff are just fabulous. They have just introduced a mobile text service too, which is a massive help to me also.
