At Shamrock we want you and your pet to want to come to the vet, because you like us! We aim to make coming to see us fun yet relaxing. We have treats for those who want them and space, tranquility and gentle handling for our more nervous patients.
We treat dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, hamsters, gerbils, budgies, pet mice and rats. Harrogate based we also cover Knaresborough, Wetherby, Whixley, Sicklinghall, Tadcaster, Ripon, Shaw Mills and surrounding villages.
We aim to provide a warm friendly service - and our clients seem to like us. We have a wealth of experience, yet are up to date on the latest treatments available.
Ring us if you want to register your pet, or please come in and talk to us if you prefer to meet us first.
Excellent on site car parking available for our clinets new and old.

Have been my vet for 20 years and 6 cats, and have coped admirably with one blind, one deaf and at least two certifiably insane. Most friendly, professional, compassionate and competent veterinary surgery I've ever known - I struggle to imagine taking a pet of mine anywhere else.

I can not praise the guys at Shamrock Vets highly enough, towards the end of last year I took my cat in with sudden onset blindness. It turned out that her blood pressure was through the roof. With lots of love and care her bp is on the way down, her eye sight has been saved and she is back to her cheeky old self! Thank you so much

Over the past 25 years, my family and I have had excellent service from Maurice and his team at Shamrock.
The level of care and professinalism is second to none, over the past 25 years my pets have been to Shamrock for any thing from annual boosters to major surgery, and no matter what the problem they are always willing to help, advise and support you when your pet is ill.
I could not imagine using another Veterinary Clinic other than Shamrock in the future.

Shamrock vets are wonderful. Recently my cat Daisy had a bad accident and had to go to Harcourt Brown (who are also fantastic) as they were the vet on weekend duty. Sadly Daisy died but I received a lovely card of condolence from Shamrock, signed by vet Sarah and the nurses. It was really kind.

The cats and I have been happy clients of Shamrock vets since the practice started in 1994. The vets and staff are friendly and put the animals at ease, no question is too silly and they have been great throughout illnesses, pets gone missing and the eventual passing away of my eldest cat at the age of 20. The say their maxim is vets advise, owners decide and I can vouch for this.

I can not praise the guys at Shamrock Vets highly enough, towards the end of last year I took my cat in with sudden onset blindness. It turned out that her blood pressure was through the roof. With lots of love and care her bp is on the way down, her eye sight has been saved and she is back to her cheeky old self! Thank you so much

The level of care and professinalism is second to none, over the past 25 years my pets have been to Shamrock for any thing from annual boosters to major surgery, and no matter what the problem they are always willing to help, advise and support you when your pet is ill.
