In May 2014, Linscott Vets and Hollin Rigg Vets, merged to form Yoredale Vets. Both successful practices in their own right, Yoredale Vets draws on the strengths of each practice to offer a more modern, cost-effective veterinary service. Retaining the personal level of care, so important to each practice remains key to Yoredale Vets. With surgeries based in Leyburn, Masham (Ripon) and Bedale, Yoredale Vets meets the needs of clients from all sectors of the community throughout Wensleydale and surrounding areas.
Located on the Middleham Road, Hollin Rigg acts as Yoredale Vets’ main farm animal and equine department for clients in the Leyburn area. With bespoke facilities farm clients may find it more convenient and cost-effective to bring their animals to Hollin Rigg, such as ewes to their lambing clinic or calves for hospitalisation. Hollin Rigg is open through out the day for collection of drugs and also stocks a wide variety of anthelmintic and ‘PML’ type products available at competitive prices. There is also ample space for clients to bring horses for routine vaccinations and routine work-ups/ procedures.
