Our next door neighbours cat attacked a racing pigeon on our property, it wasn’t our racing pigeon but not wanting it to suffer we took it to Swanzdale, who after contacting the Racing Pigeon Society decided to have it euthanised. So why have we now got a bill for nearly £30? We are willing to pay but not everyone would be in a position to do so.
No one would rescue poor animals in distress if they knew they were going to be charged, I am so disappointed with Swanzdale I thought they were caring, but it would make even us think twice before taking in an injured and distressed animal.

Excellent service. Took our very poorly ferret in for a second opinion, and though the prognosis is bad he's been given a chance for happy palative care rather than just dismissing him. Jim was fantastic, good bedside (petside?) manner, explained things well, didn't sugar coat and overall very understanding. Although by far not our closest vets surgery definitely the one we will be using from now on. A massive thank you for giving Archie a chance to end his days happy and active.

No problem is too big or too small for this dedicated team. All the staff are super friendly and there isnt a vet on the team who I wouldnt trust with my pets life. The surgery is well equiped with a ...
No problem is too big or too small for this dedicated team. All the staff are super friendly and there isnt a vet on the team who I wouldnt trust with my pets life. The surgery is well equiped with a large waiting room, several consulting rooms and nurses rooms. They have xray facilities, ultrasound and heart scan equipment. I usually see Matt or Jim but I have no problems seeing the new vet Tom either. I do prefer to see an illness through with one vet for continuity but if thats not possible I have no problem seeing one of the others.

The best vets I have ever used, I have parrots, dogs and cats and their treatment has always been fantastic administered by thoroughly caring dedicated vets, nurses and the reception staff are fab too...

After been with the vet from when we got our puppy 7 years ago, things have been going downhill in the past 8 months, our dog gets a lot of ear infections each time we have been to the vet about this it has cost us about 100.00 - 150.00 each time and after 4 visit, we decided that we would try a new vet that charged us 47.00 for the same treatment (LIKE FOR LIKE). The other the reason we are moving is because on the 3rd visit my wife was in the waiting room with other people who all over overheard two of the receptionists talking and bad mouthing about one of the business in the area (TALK ABOUT PROFESSIONAL) if dont like someone or wish to talk about them like that keep it to yourself.

We have had some troubled times recently with Dougal (Newfoundland) as luck has not been on his side . Once again our sorrow was turned to happiness with due to the kindness skill and affection given to Dougal by Jim, Matt, Louis and all the team. We now look forward to Dougal celebrating his 10th birthday.
I only wish that us humans could experience the love and care that is given on every visit to the doctors ! Never mind as long as my dogs get this attention I don't mind.

Can't recommend enough I wouldn't take mine to anywhere else. All the vets are wonderful with Jim being our favourite

Had to take our dog Oscar on a Sunday as an emergency when we were on holiday. Excellent service, staff explained what needed to be done before hand and treated Oz as if he was their own.

After been with the vet from when we got our puppy 7 years ago, things have been going downhill in the past 8 months, our dog gets a lot of ear infections each time we have been to the vet about this ...
After been with the vet from when we got our puppy 7 years ago, things have been going downhill in the past 8 months, our dog gets a lot of ear infections each time we have been to the vet about this it has cost us about 100.00 - 150.00 each time and after 4 visit, we decided that we would try a new vet that charged us 47.00 for the same treatment (LIKE FOR LIKE). The other the reason we are moving is because on the 3rd visit my wife was in the waiting room with other people who all over overheard two of the receptionists talking and bad mouthing about one of the business in the area (TALK ABOUT PROFESSIONAL) if dont like someone or wish to talk about them like that keep it to yourself.

We have had some troubled times recently with Dougal (Newfoundland) as luck has not been on his side . Once again our sorrow was turned to happiness with due to the kindness skill and affection given to Dougal by Jim, Matt, Louis and all the team. We now look forward to Dougal celebrating his 10th birthday.
I only wish that us humans could experience the love and care that is given on every visit to the doctors ! Never mind as long as my dogs get this attention I don't mind.
