I have been a client of Kenwood vets for many years and always experienced helpful and good service for my pets. I took my cat to medivets and was not impressed with how much they were wanting to charge for a tooth extraction I was quoted £371. On top of this the consultation along with pain killer and antibiotic I was charged over £60. I went to another vet who charged me £95.00. Hence I've changed vets. Read Less

In reply to the post below regarding the injured bat- the poor tiny animal in question- a brown long eared bat, was rushed through to our preparation room for immediate attention. On examination by one of our vets it was found to have an open fracture of its left humerus (bone sticking out through the skin) and multiple fractures of the small structural bones in the wing membrane. Unfortunately the bat had also lost a lot of blood for such a small creature and it was deemed kindest to euthanase it as it would never be able to be released back into the wild and it was unlikely to even survive an operation. We care about wildlife as we do for all animals presented to us for treatment. (The rating above is only to allow this message to be published as it will not post otherwise) Read Less

I am absolutely discusted with kenwood surgery and i will never in a million years bring another pet to this practise and i suggest no one else does either if you genrally care aabout your pets well being, i had a staffordshire bull terrier cross named snaps who was very unwell so we took him here on 18/1/14 where we saw laura perrin we told her how he could not stand on his back legs properly , how he was weeing and pooing every where , not eating or drinking and how we thought he was blind as he kept bumping into things, she weighed him, checked his temprature and heart rate and his back legs (not checking his eyes) she then told us he had arthiritis and gave us some mediacation for him. we then took him home and he started howling in the corner and panting as he was so scared. we phoned a emergancy vet (NOT KENWOOD) who saw him immediatly and told us how he was blind and had a brain tumour and how he needed to be put to sleep so he was no longer in pain and he was panting due to the trauma of going blind. the vet at kendwood should have checked him over PROPERLY! and then my boy would not have been in so much pain and he would not have been so scared , if she had of done her job PROPERLY my snaps would not have suffered for a extra 6 hours i believe this is appauling and am discusted with this veterinary surgery. i do not wish for anyone to go through what myself and mother had to go through with our snaps. i personally would like a verbal apology and written apology and something done about this vets lack interest in my boy. i do not wish for this to happen to anyone else and make any other person or animal suffer because of their lack of interest.
