Took our timid Jack Russell for his first appointment here for a booster vaccination. Nicholas, the vet, was thorough and gentle with Gilbert and the nurse who advised us on weight control was superb. We believe we have found a terrific practice and although Gilbert may have been a rescue dog, we believe he deserves the best. The whole process from registration through to the examination and vaccination was superb. We would have no hesitation in recommending this practice. We were with our last practice for over 25 years and they were good but we think we've found a good one here now we've moved to Kettering. Gilbert came away happy too! Read Less

Our little Jack Russell Terrorist was referred to Adrian following an injury that wasn't healing too well. Adrian identified he needed an operation on his cruciate on his very first appointment without a full examination as he isn't Vet friendly. Within a week he had his operation and is now being followed up through his recovery period. All the staff we have encountered have been so good and patient with Jack because he is not an easy customer. The Avenue vets were brilliant with my dogs over the last 12.5 years . Sadly Comeby had to leave me but the staff were so supportive and kind it really helped. What a wonderful vets ,Nikolas (sorry if spelt wrongly ) is one of the most amazing vets you will ever meet ,from caring for my late 16 yr old Dachshund Charlie ,and now looking after Monster in his later years ,and two puppies Marley and Biggles ,he takes time and goes that extra mile even ringing you at home to see if all is ok ,not ruled by his watch he is always able to give you that little bit more ,also Jessica who is also highly recommended in everything ,and not forgetting Katie their receptionist always ready to help ,thank you all ,Liz Hepton-Dodds xxx Read Less

Jessica and her lovely team have looked after my very special wellington dog ( welly to his friends) for the last 2 days. He had to have abdominal surgery to remove his spleen and mass. He says he has been very well looked after but is glad to get home to sleep in his own bed. Barney (choc lab) has just celebrated his 13th Birthday. He absolutely would not still be here if it wasn't for Adrian and all the vets/nurses at The Avenue clinic and I can not speak highly enough of them. He had his first op aged 9 months on his extremely dodgy joints and the most recent a year ago. I wouldn't take him anywhere else and now Murphy (black lab) is also being well cared for by the team.
