My cat is champion at getting himself into scrapes and physical trouble but every time we're there, Kim and Simon are extremely patient and take the time to come to a quick resolution that doesn't cost me a fortune and means my little friend comes home pain free and asthetically perfect. Very friendly staff. I won't take my Rabbit any where else.. The vets here are specialists in Rabbits, Cats and small animals.. Unfortunately I took my first rabbit to a local vet for his regular health checks and they missed a lump on his kidney... I took him to the Cat & rabbit vet they did all they could but the cancer has spread.. My new Rabbit got very poorly took him straight to caring vet they diagnosed him treated him two weeks later he was back to his cheeky self. I cannot rate this vet service highly enough... Read Less

I would give many more stars if I could! I wanted to thank everyone for the first class care my little cat received. He is the most fragile of my 3 and Simon and Kim took great care to ensure he was under as little stress as possible and quickly got him well again. Kim couldn't have had any lunch one day and spent the time to see him despite a busy surgery and was so kind, I am so grateful. They are both so very lovely and caring to the animals (& humans!) I've had many cats over the years and the Cat and Rabbit clinic is the only vets I've been to where I know 100% they are in the very best hands. The whole team are lovely and the receptionists and nurses also take time for a chat even though they are busy. I also wanted to thank the receptionist who asks after my little chubby tabby Violet. Simon was highly recommended by Debbie at TEAS so off I set from North Bucks with Violet, my beloved GP. She had been experiencing dental issues and he rectified them there and then - and without anaesthesia. How delighted I was to be taking her home straight afterwards, which had not been the case in the past. Simon has an exceptionally calm and lovely 'bedside manner'. Traveled all the way from Ramsgate to see Simon Maddock yesterday... me and my partner were in pieces over our little guinea pig, Brain... he wasnt eating at all... we had spent loads of money already at local vets with no progress... went to Simon and our little Brain started eating for the first time in a week last night... we cried with excitement... Having a large number of my own cats I also look after the neighbours two when on holiday. One of the cats, Homer, has been very poorly and the team fitted him in as an emergency and took time to assess him and treat him. Cannot praise them enough. Simon and Kim both know their stuff when it comes to Guinea Pigs. So nice to have vets that care so much about Guinea Pigs. My little man is feeling a lot better now. Both cats had operations and were so well looked after you wouldn't have known they'd had anaesthetic!! Even had a welfare call the following morning to make sure they were ok.... very reassuring. I am so pleased that the Cat and Rabbit Care Clinic was recommended to me! Every time my cats come to the clinic, whether it is for vaccinations, checks up, dentals or due to illness, they are always treated like a special patient and Kim and Simon always spend letting them settle. My cats are never nervous of their vet trips. After a number of visits with one of my cats recently I have really come to admire their care and expertise. Staff are always nice. Simon and the team are life savers for many animals, especially rabbits and guinea pigs with dental problems. One of a low number of UK vets who do guinea pig dental work GA free. Well priced as well for the professional service given. I travel 175 miles to have my piggy treated each month. Absolutely Fantastic!! I was recommended the cat and rabbit clinic and it has not let me down!! I recently had my baby boy bunny neutered here and they did a great job! More recently my baby boy had episode of Ileus, having lost a rabbit to GI a few month before and used a different vet, I didn't question taking him back to Cat and Rabbit. I was able to get an appointment within hours, they gave great advice and plenty of medicine!! They answered my calls and got back to me as soon as possible and after a few days he is back to full health. I am reluctant to take my rabbit anywhere else and willing to do the journey from Milton Keynes knowing my rabbit is in safe hands. Having used various vets in the past, I can not fault their service, their specialism and there attention! If you have a rabbit or a Cat then get booked in with these guys!! Read Less

Nathan here. Thank you for helping us help Harriet maintain a happy year with us at home, after her near fatal poisoning incident. I know she didn't like being poked and prodded, when required, but she was happy at home, and buy and large it was thanks to Simon, Kim, and nurses, who I'm sorry to say I don't know the names of. I'm struggling to remember the name of all the ladies at reception too, I do however remember Sarah very well, who we saw most often, and have always found her to be very warm and friendly. In any case the entire team dynamic has always been good in my eyes. Simon and Kim, I found you to be very reassuring, even in light of potentially bleak news, compassionate, and understanding. Even at the end it was a comfort for Paul to be with you when Harriet needed to be put to sleep earlier today. Had this remained with our first opinion vet a year ago, we would have been stripped of all comfort and compassion. I was already aware of you, I don't know why I didn't start coming to you guys in the first place, but going forward no other practice could be better for us. We will see you again with our new cats, as the house feels empty now, and I look forward to doing so under happier circumstances. But before that the next visit will involve something edible, a nice blend of.sugar and fat in a variety of forms to please all. Many thanks indeed. NathanRead Less

During the unfortunately short life of our much loved house rabbit, we used the Cat and Rabbit Care Clinic on a number of occasions. We have found the staff to be polite, kind and caring. When we discovered our rabbit clearly unwell upon returning from work, the vets managed to squeeze us in at short notice and upon diagnosing a bad case of bloat showed an immense sense of care and dedication in attempting to save him, going far further than we could have expected to give him the best possible chance of recovery. It is unfortunate that, regardless of the care he recieved, miracles do not always happen. The prognosis for survival from bloat is generally poor, a fact that was made clear to us early on an which helped us come to terms with the situation. We are confident that Loki could not have received better care anywhere else and so when we are ready to look after another bunny we will return to the Cat and Rabbit Care Clinic when there services are required.
