I have to say it was exceptional. My cat does not usually take to men but he was totally at ease with the vet, who proved how good he was as he spoke more to the cat than me...lol. I expected the cat to have been running about and climbing on cupboards which is where he goes when we have visitors. Also it was well worth the distance travelled from Kingsthorpe to Far Cotton. The receptionist was also very polite and informative. Well done A****

Took cats for health check and inoculations plus claw trim...each stage was explained clearly...female cat had obviously had enough after being injecfed and chipped so a claw trim was definitely not next on her to do list but the vet didn't give up she called for back up and between us managed to get most of her claws clipped as she had some troublesome ones All in all a great visit plus I signed up to the Pet Health Plan which saved me just over £100 straight away...thank you Rhodes.

I normally use the Far Cotton branch, but have also found the same to be true of the Kingsthorpe branch. I would not hesitate to recommend Rhodes Vets to anyone.

Have recently registered the care of our beloved cats to Rhodes and today we had the first consultation with Dominic. Am extremely impressed with his professionalism, the advice that he gave and the care in general. What made the visit for us was the Receptionist on duty (am sorry forgot to ask her name) - she was so friendly and welcoming - really made us feel valued as a customer and had a great knowledge of products and services on offer. Lily is booked in for a dental on the 24th so will be seeing you again soon. Thank you.

We have been using Rhodes Vets for over 20 years, and would never take my pets anywhere else. They will always do their best to fit you in, and we always receive an friendly welcome from both the receptionists and vets. And their skills and care are second to none. Over the years we have presented them with various animals...cats, dogs, rats, hamsters etc, with illnesses and injuries such as cancer, strokes, hip displasia, allergies...and all have received the same degree of professional care. They also offer a fabulous plan which covers all your pets vaccinations etc for a monthly fee, and are always happy to offer advice on the phone. I really can't recommend them highly enough.

We've been going to Rhodes ever since we got our dog. Sadly we had to have him put to sleep a few weeks ago and I cannot thank Rhodes and Kelly the vet enough. They have done so much and gone above and beyond with Archie in the 16 years we had him. Right down to sending us a sympathy card when we lost him. It will be a while before we get another not but you can be sure we will continue to use Rhodes. Thank you for all you have done for us.

Before asking what was wrong and when they could see me, the person I spoke to only seemed interested in how I was going to pay and then told me they would see me tomorrow. Phoned Spinney Veterinary practice at the Abbey centre. They saw me and my cat straight away, not a mention of payment. Will definitely be sticking with them!

Rhodes have been vets to our pets for some time and we are always impressed by them. We recently lost our much loved Cavalier King Charles spaniel to acute leukaemia. From initial consultation, through diagnosis, to palliative care; nothing was too much trouble for the team at Rhodes. The whole team were compassionate, supportive and generous with their time to us, and most importantly, our dog. Our vet was patient when explaining test results and potential options open to us, sometimes multiple times, and was supportive and understanding at every step as his illness progressed. The advice received about how to support our other dog has meant that he has adjusted well to being on his own. Even at the very end our dog was treated with respect and dignity. I can confidently highly recommend Rhodes.

Our cat was brought in recently and we discovered that she was incredibly poorly. Although our visits didn't have a happy ending I would like to commend the staff, from the lady on reception who handled my emotional phone calls with sympathetic tenderness to the wonderful vet who talked my daughter through the process of putting her very best friend at rest in a way she understood and wasn't frightened by. To allow her the extra time she wanted to say goodbye went above and beyond and helped immeasurably. Our situation was handled with such care and thoughtfulness, we really are grateful for the exemplary service we received and a big thank you goes to the staff that provided it. A special thank you for the card we received in the post too - a lovely touch. We were very moved by it.

My kitties have been treated well even if puds likes to wee on me when she goes, the pet plan is excellent. I had the unfortunate experience of bringing in a poor puss who had been killed on the road and left, they took him and even cleaned my car for me. Whats more the phone was ringing when i got home to tell me to poor little man was chipped and owners found thanking me for reuniting him with his owners. A surgery that cares thank you x

Have recently registered the care of our beloved cats to Rhodes and today we had the first consultation with Dominic. Am extremely impressed with his professionalism, the advice that he gave and the care in general. What made the visit for us was the Receptionist on duty (am sorry forgot to ask her name) - she was so friendly and welcoming - really made us feel valued as a customer and had a great knowledge of products and services on offer. We have been using Rhodes Vets for over 20 years, and would never take my pets anywhere else. They will always do their best to fit you in, and we always receive an friendly welcome from both the receptionists and vets. And their skills and care are second to none. Over the years we have presented them with various animals...cats, dogs, rats, hamsters etc, with illnesses and injuries such as cancer, strokes, hip displasia, allergies...and all have received the same degree of professional care. They also offer a fabulous plan which covers all your pets vaccinations etc for a monthly fee, and are always happy to offer advice on the phone. I really can't recommend them highly enough.

We've been going to Rhodes ever since we got our dog. Sadly we had to have him put to sleep a few weeks ago and I cannot thank Rhodes and Kelly the vet enough. They have done so much and gone above and beyond with Archie in the 16 years we had him. Right down to sending us a sympathy card when we lost him. It will be a while before we get another not but you can be sure we will continue to use Rhodes. Thank you for all you have done for us.

As a prospective new customer, I phoned to make an appointment for my poorly pusscat. Before asking what was wrong and when they could see me, the person I spoke to only seemed interested in how I was going to pay and then told me they would see me tomorrow. Phoned Spinney Veterinary practice at the Abbey centre. They saw me and my cat straight away, not a mention of payment. Will definitely be sticking with them!

I was disappointed today when I went in to get some Advocate for my cat,and was ignored by the 3 nurses behind the counter,eventually served by another kind nurse. I have taken my cat there for 2 yrs,and my previous cat for 3 yrs but I will be taking him to another vet from now on. There is no excuse for rudeness.

Rhodes have been vets to our pets for some time and we are always impressed by them. We recently lost our much loved Cavalier King Charles spaniel to acute leukaemia. From initial consultation, through diagnosis, to palliative care; nothing was too much trouble for the team at Rhodes. The whole team were compassionate, supportive and generous with their time to us, and most importantly, our dog. Our vet was patient when explaining test results and potential options open to us, sometimes multiple times, and was supportive and understanding at every step as his illness progressed. The advice received about how to support our other dog has meant that he has adjusted well to being on his own. Even at the very end our dog was treated with respect and dignity. I can confidently highly recommend Rhodes.

Our cat was brought in recently and we discovered that she was incredibly poorly. Although our visits didn't have a happy ending I would like to commend the staff, from the lady on reception who handled my emotional phone calls with sympathetic tenderness to the wonderful vet who talked my daughter through the process of putting her very best friend at rest in a way she understood and wasn't frightened by. To allow her the extra time she wanted to say goodbye went above and beyond and helped immeasurably. Our situation was handled with such care and thoughtfulness, we really are grateful for the exemplary service we received and a big thank you goes to the staff that provided it. A special thank you for the card we received in the post too - a lovely touch. We were very moved by it.

My kitties have been treated well even if puds likes to wee on me when she goes, the pet plan is excellent. I had the unfortunate experience of bringing in a poor puss who had been killed on the road and left, they took him and even cleaned my car for me. Whats more the phone was ringing when i got home to tell me to poor little man was chipped and owners found thanking me for reuniting him with his owners. A surgery that cares thank you x
