I had to take my dog for an emergency appointment as she had a nasty infection. I was told to go down and I was seen within an hour which I think is fantastic for an emergency. Esme who checked her over was so caring and most importantly, honest. She explained everything that would happen with the treatment required and what the cost would be so there was no costly suprises. Wow what can I say, absolute fantastic vets, the staff are so welcoming and friendly. I took my little princess there to have her teeth out, and the service is outstanding. I called to see how she was doing and they kept me updated every step of her op, When I went to collect her they were very informative. They sent her home with a get well card and even called me the next day to make sure she was ok. It’s the little things like that, that I have decided to make that her main vets. You would be surprised how many vets I’ve been to that have little to no knowledge on rats, but here you can rest assured that your furry friends will be more than well taken care of. On my first visit I was asked questions about my cage size, enrichment in cage, playtime, food, interactions between my ratties and concerns I may have. I was informed about the main illness a rat can catch and how to spot symptoms/how to prevent them. The rats had a thorough examination of their breathing (which I was very happy about since they’re knows to easily catch respiratory infections) and were checked for any lumps and bumps. Then I was also advised how to help my rats not gain weight by hiding food around the cage and other tips. I walked out feeling incredibly at ease. Will definitely be registering my dog here. The vets and care staff are wonderful, they genuinely care about the animals they see. Our cat pickle (who sadly passed last year) had bowel cancer, the love and care he received was top rate. One morning last month I called at 8.30 for an to see our cat (who was sneezing lots and very snotty) .. they saw me at 10.30. Diagnosed, injected and course of antibiotics and now all is well. Was in this month to get the Cat and Dog booster vaccinations. All done with thorough efficiency. I took my dog Milo in on Saturday morning on an emergency appointment after suspecting he had eaten something in the garden and was very ill. Sam and Nishi took excellent care of him throughout the day and kept me fully informed of his progress. A wonderful surgery full of talented and sincere animal lovers - my beloved dog Blue was under the surgery for half of his life and lived until the ripe old age of 15, sadly being put to sleep a few days ago due to sudden ill health that was tragically thrust upon him one morning. White Cross saw him within an hour and although already knowing he would need to be put down they acted with such sincerity and compassion in allowing his passing to be painless and peaceful, I couldn't have wanted better treatment for him when it really mattered. I cannot praise the team at Whitecross Northampton enough- Bekkii saw my elderly giant lop bunny Smartie with our first appointment at the surgery this morning, and I left in tears, but tears of happiness!! She took the time to listen to me and my worries about Smartie’s all-over fur matting, and spent an hour with us gently washing her back feet and brushing out her fur with me. IV only just recently joined this vet. I registered my pet with Abington park vets and i had a terrible experience there! I didn't like how the veteran was with my pet an in general I wasn't €happy with the customer service there. I then registered with White Cross Vets the atmosphere, veteran and customer service here is great! White cross have a monthly plan and you can save so much money than if u were to be registered with other vets. When i had my pet registered with Abington park vets everything was so pricey and unaffordable. I highly recommend White Cross Vets for pet owners! Read Less

Charlie is always very well looked after by the team at White Cross Vets Northampton, more recently following his recent op. He loves visiting the vets anyway (I think it might be the treats!). The pet plan is also brilliant and includes everything needed for a pet's wellbeing - vaccinations, flea and worming treatment, annual health check and even nail clipping when needed. I can not recommend white cross vets (well Amy, Vanessa & Kelly) more highly. I had taken a stray dog in which had been hit badly by a car, with no hesitation they rushed to take him from our car took him straight out back and did everything they could for him. I have visited different vets for our dog whiskey...never have we really been satisfied with them... then we bought Chase our kitten and decided to try White Cross .... Both my partner and I have been pleasantly surprised that as a whole from the front of house to the vets themselves including the care they have given our pets at White Cross is outstanding... even when you call the vets, their telephone manner and as people shows how approachable they are.
