Our 9 week old Chihiuahua, Rosie had a major trauma resulting in her being unconscious for quite a while, she fitted, blew blood bubbles from her nose and mouth. We thought she was dead. Still in our PJ's took Rosie to our local Ambivet on Aspley lane, she was Admitted to Heanor branch but we didn't hold out much hope for her. Treated with whatever was needed, someone sat with her, she was much loved and cuddled. Ashley, was the night time vet, he is absolutely wonderful, taking time out to explain everything to us, in laymans terms, warm and understanding. Rosie was sooo poorly. I hate talking money, but we were told every step of the way just how much things were, costs of X-Ray's blood tests, informed of everything. She is our new baby, nothing was too much, event bough we thought, she wasn't going to make it. We had to give her every chance. All the staff, from the receptionists, nurses and vets that we met were so very lovely, genuine in their concern, loving and caring. I have been told the Ambivets prices are slightly higher than other vets, well what cost do you put on a member of your family, knowing the treatment they are getting is the best!!!! Against all odds Rosie pulled through. We now have our cheeky bundle of fun back home with us. A HUGE thank you to everyone involved. I would not hesitate to recommend Ambivet to anyone.Read Less
