Would not recommend to anyone. I called because I saw the high rating so I thought to have found a good vet. Instead I have been accepted with non-seriousness. So, yesterday I found a bird’s egg so I take it home for take care of it. Today I call this vet and when I ask her what I should do she start to laugh and after a bit she turn off the call. (Is this respect?) Then I recalled her and ask the same thing, and her answer was “oh a bird’s egg? It’s impossible that it will hatch. Just ignore it”. After this, I call another vet, and she told me to take the egg to her today so she can provide for a proper hatch and weaning. That means that it wasn’t that impossible. If you decide that the job of your life is do the vet, it’s because you love all the animals the same way, and you really care about them and you want to help everybody who wants to take care of an animal. If it’s not so, maybe you should change your job. Read Less

When this was Davison and Taylor it was an amasing Vet Surgery. Still a good vet but now (like everything else) money is tainting the experience and level of service is being affected. The last time they clipped he dogs claws there was bleeding which prompted a "It's OK, that'll stop bleeding" response. Years ago more care was given and that type of incident would not have happened. Don't get me wrong, they are good but have lowered to the same service you get elsewhere instead of being "The Best In Town" service of old. Read Less

My son took his guinea pig to Davison's for a dental yesterday. He seems ok, I think he's still recovering, my son's hand feeding him. My son sounded very pleased with the dental and the fact that things were actually explained to him, the only other vet that properly explains things to him is a guinea specialist in Alfreton. They said they did all of his teeth but still charged my son what they originally estimated which is brilliant and very nice of them. Will probably be using Davison's from now on, we have 9 guinea's, 2 hamsters and a dog and have a lot of problems finding vets that actually know what they are talking about in regards to rodents. Thanks very much to the vet that did Big E's dental.Read Less
