So pleased with the care my little degu got at Davison's Veterinary Care. I was back and forth about getting him neutered as it's such a risky procedure with such a small creature but I'm glad I did and I'm glad I chose this vet. Jane was wonderful, very reassuring and good with my little one. He was back to his old self by the time he was home and eating and drinking and pooping normally by the next day. He actually seems happier since the surgery which surprised me. Read Less

Brought our beloved dog Truly in for a small lump removal under GA today. A warm welcome from all staff. Particularly impressed at how thoroughly they talked us through the process and what would happen during the operation. Kept in touch with us throughout the day on how things had gone. Another thorough talk through after care when we collected our dog. Not been to the Ilkeston Rd site before - all very clean and professional surroundings. At home now and dog is a little groggy but happy in herself. Any worries we had about the whole prospect of an operation on a 10-year-old dog have gone and we feel much better knowing the wonderful care she received. Thank you to all the staff. Read Less

My son took his guinea pig to Davison's for a dental yesterday. He seems ok, I think he's still recovering, my son's hand feeding him. My son sounded very pleased with the dental and the fact that things were actually explained to him, the only other vet that properly explains things to him is a guinea specialist in Alfreton. They said they did all of his teeth but still charged my son what they originally estimated which is brilliant and very nice of them. Will probably be using Davison's from now on, we have 9 guinea's, 2 hamsters and a dog and have a lot of problems finding vets that actually know what they are talking about in regards to rodents. Thanks very much to the vet that did Big E's dental.Read Less

My brother told me about Davisons as he took his dog there. That was back in 1988. I have taken a numerous amount of pets in that time from dogs to hamsters and Guinea pigs. Now it is just cats. It's a place I trust with my most treasured companions. I am very particular who I do see, as the receptionists will confirm! but I am very grateful to Jess who was very compassionate at the loss of my gorgeous treasured boy. I would also like to thank Shannon for her great care with our troublesome little Freya who has problems and is so terrified of leaving the house. Alisha is also another favourite and who will be very busy now Shannon is leaving. I am sure I will be visiting for many years to come. Read Less
