At Vets4Pets we know your pet is a much loved part of the family and you want them to enjoy a long, healthy life. This is why our veterinary teams, made up of animal loving experts, firmly believe in providing the highest level of care and treating every pet they see like they would their own.
Every Vets4Pets practice is equipped with the latest in technology, which means we can offer your pets the personalised care they need. Our practices are also designed to make your pet’s time with us as comfortable as possible; just like kids don’t always like going to the dentist, we know pets don’t always like going to the vets! Our waiting areas are light and spacious (and with floors that can cope with little accidents) and we also have separate dog and cat wards so your pet can recuperate more comfortably after any treatment.
Our vets will explain all clinical terms so you fully understand what is happening to your pet and you are fully involved in their treatment plan. This also includes being completely transparent in our pricing, so you can make an informed choice on the treatment that you want your pet to receive.

I have been visiting this practise for some time now, and have contemplated moving somewhere else
For a while. They are all about the money and not caring for the pets.

I have been visiting this practise for some time now, and have contemplated moving somewhere else
For a while. They are all about the money and not caring for the pets.
I visited today 20 minutes before the practise closed, admittedly I did not have an appt, but I live close and could see my dog was distressed as he had snapped his claw and couldn’t walk. He was shaking quite badly when I entered the vets and was clearly not happy.
I asked the receptionist if someone could just take a quick look and cut his claw, I was happy to wait obviously as I hadn’t booked.
After waiting for several minutes I was advised that the vet would see us but as an out of office patient and the consultation would be £95 plus the cutting of the claw.
This is not caring for pets, this is pure and simply money grabbing. The process would have taken a couple of minutes to relief the dog of the pain he was in.
I called at another practise where I am not registered on my way home and they did it for nothing!
Really disappointing, I will never visit Vets 4 Pets again due to this incident, all I wanted was some help!

Staff are very respectful and helpful, unfortunately our visit was the loss of our beloved dog but we were given time with our pet, we wasn't rushed and the staff treated us throughout with the utmost...
Staff are very respectful and helpful, unfortunately our visit was the loss of our beloved dog but we were given time with our pet, we wasn't rushed and the staff treated us throughout with the utmost kindness, support and empathy.
A few days later we received a beautiful card which had been signed by all the staff.
This vets standards of care are now how I rate others by.

Great vets in my opinion. Long opening hours including weekends. Respond very well to potential emergencies. Knowledgeable staff and vets run you through all options and happy to give advice. Parking is ok, waiting area is ok. Sells a few bits of food and pet accessories.

The quality of care and the attitude of vets can vary wildly, just like it can with GPs for humans. I can safely say that I feel my cat is being personally cared for and I would strongly recommend Mapperley vets4pets to anyone. They're also cheaper than the competition so that's a plus.

Thank you so much for all the care that you have provided for my cat in an emergency. Erika and the team were amazing, gave the best care I could've asked for. Very helpful, they genuinely cared about my cat's well being, and they were so calming when I was in floods of tears. Thanks to their professionalism, and help, my cat is on the mend now, would recommend this practice 100%!
