I have been visiting this practise for some time now, and have contemplated moving somewhere else For a while. They are all about the money and not caring for the pets. I visited today 20 minutes before the practise closed, admittedly I did not have an appt, but I live close and could see my dog was distressed as he had snapped his claw and couldn’t walk. He was shaking quite badly when I entered the vets and was clearly not happy. I asked the receptionist if someone could just take a quick look and cut his claw, I was happy to wait obviously as I hadn’t booked. After waiting for several minutes I was advised that the vet would see us but as an out of office patient and the consultation would be £95 plus the cutting of the claw. This is not caring for pets, this is pure and simply money grabbing. The process would have taken a couple of minutes to relief the dog of the pain he was in. I called at another practise where I am not registered on my way home and they did it for nothing! Really disappointing, I will never visit Vets 4 Pets again due to this incident, all I wanted was some help! Read Less
