We can't rate more than 5 stars but we would if we could. Bill and his staff have restored our faith in vets. A genuinely relaxing atmosphere for you and your furry family members. We have searched all over for a vet to compare to a longstanding extended family vet who has retired and we feel that we have found it in this practice. Even our nervous furry family members were more relaxed than at previous veterinary practices. Vaccinations, no ill effects for boosters or puppies first course. The only bad reaction was from our tiny Chihuahau who always feels it more for a day or two, (health benefits outweigh discomfort).Also he is catered to fully during this time with snuggles,treats, etc 😁😚. The puppies were bouncing off the walls and playing as usual when we got home and they had microchips at the same time. The 5 star reviews do this practice justice 100%. We had previously took our cat to another vets and we was unhappy with the lack of empathy and options given to our cat Tilly. RVC (Bill) came highly recommended by several people. Bill showed empathy and professionalism, and gave us more options and tests to see exactly what was going on with her deteriorating health. We took our cat back today for further tests, and sadly she was getting too ill to carry on :( All the staff from the receptionists, nurses and Bill were so kind and showed genuine compassion to us. They put my Father and I at total ease at a deeply sad time. This Veterinary Centre maybe a bit more expensive compared to some of the other vets in Nottingham, but you truly get Professionalism, kindness, and they try everything, before they consider end of life of your loved one. We have recently joined Rushcliffe Veterinary Centre and have had a wonderful experience on the puppy plan. I would highly recommend to anyone who has a new puppy, especially first time owners. Have been using The Rushcliffe Vet since about 2011. Wanted to use an independent vet, not a chain, and I have not been disappointed. Skilled and up-to-date vets, and friendly front of house staff. They offer the vaccination for life program like the chain vets do, so there's no excuse not to use them. These guys also don't upsell you to buy services you didn't go in for. Read Less

Cute pet Ginger went to Rushcliffe Vets, West Bridgeford, for a male castration. I was very worried because when he arrirved at my home he had known epilepsy, severe heart issues, squashed gut, liver and spleen and was blind. I need not have worried. They assured me that they had chosen the correct medication for his operation and that he should be able to pull through an epileptic seizure even if he had one during the operation. He did indeed have an epileptic seizure during the operation but bounced back home within 2 hours and has never looked back! Cute pet Ginger and his mum would like to say a big thank you. Read Less

A really wonderful group of extremely committed Vets and Nurses, I have been lucky enough to spend time on placement here and have seen how brilliant the team are and how respectful and gentle they are with the animals behind closed doors too. Bill has been our vet for years and he or a member of his team has always been really quick to see us whenever we needed an appointment. The facilities at the practice are great including being able to do laparoscopic spays. The whole team are lovely and great at explaining things so you always feel like you understand exactly what is happening unlike some vets that try and blind you with science and throw a bill at you. We have received top class service from Bill and his team over the years, my family and all our animals are very grateful :) Read Less

Wonderful vets! Our two rats have always been seen quickly and with a lot of care (even when they climb on the vets head!) When we have had an emergency they have ensured we've been seen that same day and are fantastic at reassuring new owners. Read Less
