We are totally disgusted with this vets! Our dog was unwell bloated stomach and off his food. Took him in for consultation they said bring him the following day for a scan. Took him in for a scan Thursday 8.30 am. We had a phone call from the vets to say they had found a Tumor on his spleen therefore his spleen needed to be removed that day emergency operation. We did not hesitate he had the surgery at vets for pets. The surgery started around 1pm and we had a phone call at 3pm ish to say the surgery had gone well and could we come and see the vet at 6.30pm to discuss care and to see the Dog. We arrived and was called in by the vet. She said you have come to collect duke I said sorry what? You have come to collect your dog. Collect the dog after major surgery less than 3 hours after they had removed his spleen! I was furious we had to get our poor dog in the boot of our car after major surgery the poor boy wasn't even awake. He is a massive American bulldog weighing over 10 stone. We then had to drive him to the other side of Nottingham with our poor dog in the boot! He is now in over night care with pdsa. I am absolutely appalled and upset that vets for pets could just throw a sick animal in the boot of car. They also gave me his IV drip meds in a carrier bag! When we got to pdsa the 2 nurses dragged my boy out of the boot I said be bloody careful they didn't even know he had major surgery they said all they knew is that he was coming for over night care! I'm upset typing this I just hope our dog will be ok. Today he is still in care with pdsa. Please don't let vets for pets care for your animals they do not care!!! Read Less

Rang them this morning to say I had concerns about my dog having patch of fur missing on leg and getting worse and now red inflamed and itchy and I was worried could be mange even though my dog is up to date with front line and wormed. I explained I had no finance to pay until next week and could they see her with view to raising invoice for me as I live around the corner from them and could pay them then. They refused to see her n said they are a private practice and no they would not do this . I work but unfortunately this was unaccounted for. I don't expect free treatment I just wanted a few days leeway to pay. I got fobbed off like they just didn't care and refused to see her. I have now spoken to another practice who are happy to see her and do this for me. Goodbye vets 4 pets you are disgraceful no caring from u at all. I hope people read this before going to them as they have no compassion. Read Less

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Took my dog here last year and they should've known that her uterus was rupturing as soon as we took her in from all the symptoms she had. Instead, they wanted 700 for a hysterectomy that they knew wouldn't work, and they kept telling us to bring my dog back every so often so they could get as much money from us as possible. A week after we first took our dog to Vets4Pets, my dog took a turn for the worse and we took her to a different vets practice for her to be put down. They don't care about the welfare of your animal here, only money matters to them. If they had cared about my dog they would've told us straight away and saved her a week of pain. Read Less
