Simply amazing people. Caring, supportive, understanding and real. They have been a tower of strength at some very difficult times but they never waver or forget that the animal comes first. The onsite cattery and Kennels also help as our reassures an owner on the quality of care. The only down side is that our can sometimes get a bit noisy if there are lots of dogs saying "hello" to each other. Life savers. Read Less

Our daughter took our dog here last year when she became ill whilst we were away on holiday. She had terminal liver cancer and they looked after her so well, the night nurse brought her sausages to tempt her appetite. Brilliant, friendly and very capable. We've been using Chippy Vets for almost 20 years now, and have taken all 3 dogs there, together with visits from "guest dogs". They have always been friendly and helpful, in both good times and bad. Whether it's been socialising a new puppy at a "puppy party", or helping see our old dog off when that sad time came, they've been uniformly brilliant. Their vets diagnosed a very strange illness in one of our dogs, operated and saved her, giving her many more years of health and happiness. They rescued another from his gluttony when he ate his own bodyweight in another dogs food and almost died from it. They moved premises a few years back to custom built new premises (much easier to park) and their service remained top notch. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Read Less

Usually great, but took our guinea pig in after we were concerned she had lost a huge amount of weight in the last few weeks. The vet weighed her and said her weight was fine, seemed to completely disregard the fact I was saying her weight had drastically dropped. He sent us away saying nothing to worry about but a few days later our guinea pig died :( I'm no vet but I'd have listened to the owner and done further tests. Hope she didn't suffer at the end.
