After a previous battle with cancer, Prince was admitted to The Veterinary Centre after losing strength in his limbs over Christmas. Booking an emergency appointment was quick and easy, and the receptionist was very helpful. Further to his consultation, The Veterinary Centre obtained records from Prince's previous vets with minimum fuss, and booked various procedures in order to diagnose him and keep him as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately, side-effects of the advanced cancer meant that Prince deteriorated very quickly and lost the ability to stand early in the new year. After fruitless attempts at medicating him, we made the painful decision to have Prince put to sleep. Again, the receptionist was very calm and comforting in booking the appointment, and struck the perfect balance between being informative and empathising with our feelings. We saw various vets over the course of Prince's different appointments, and I was amazed by the passion and knowledge of each of them - particularly Rebecca and Gemma. I could not have asked for a better service, or for a more understanding practice at such a difficult time. I would not hesitate to return to them, or to recommend Henley Veterinary Centre to anyone, no matter the pet or ailment. They have my eternal gratitude. Read Less
