General Info
The Practice opened its doors in 1992 under the ownership of Susan Carter in a converted and extended bungalow which has been on the property since the mid 1950's. The practice grew into a busy first opinion small animal practice and after thirteen years as practice principal Susan sold the practice to Matthew and Joanne Harrison in January 2005. Under the current ownership the practice has been further extended and during 2008 the practice was fully modernised to provide state of the art facilities and equipment whilst aiming to provide a friendly and professional service to every client who walks through the door.

Words cannot do justice, to the kind professional consideration, shown by the staff here. I moved my pets here, quite a few years ago, after receiving glowing reports from other people! From the day to day mundane treatment of my mob of cats and dogs, to exceptional service when cancer struck!! A quiet friendly professionalism, shines through. Reflecting on the calibre of service, when one loses a furry friend, the most difficult of times indeed, supported ably by Jo and her growing staff.

Totally overwhelmed by the care and support you have shown us recently over the hard decision we had to make over our beloved dog Harvey. You came out to the house to euthanise him, the nurse cuddled him in her lap back to the surgery (you'll never know what that meant to me). Today we picked up his ashes having been away overnight. When we got home the postman had delivered the most thoughtful card of sympathy from you. Well done, you could not have done more.

Such fantastic members of staff. So friendly and welcoming and they have a real passion for animals. Could not be happier with the way they spayed/neutered my bunnies. Very helpful with dealing with troublesome bunnies especially a female who refused to eat afterwards. Thank you!! :)

I have used this veterinary surgery for the past 18 years and everyone here is wonderful. On Monday 1st June we had to have our beautiful collie Busta put to sleep. Sarah was wonderful with both Busta and my family as we were obviously traumatised at having to say our final goodbye. All the staff are so caring and supportive. I would recommend this vet to everyone.

All the staff at the Brook vet surgery are excellent. Took my two cats here from when they were kittens. The oldest one had to be put to sleep in July 2011, aged 17, Jo was wonderful with what was a completely traumatic time for us. All the staff were fantastic and so supportive, they even sent us a 'with sympathy' card that everyone had signed. We were so touched.

Sarah was wonderful with both Busta and my family as we were obviously traumatised at having to say our final goodbye. All the staff are so caring and supportive.
