I have a totally ginger female cat that will be 17 in March. I started taking her to this practice early last year. She has a variety of health issues being elderly. The vets are great, in particular Susie (cat specialist).
The previous vet practice in Abingdon in January last year gave Saphie 6 months to a year to live as had cancer in her small intestine! Wrong!!!
Saphie has a torn achilles tendon in a rear leg, small lump in her small intestine, possibly arthritis, dementia and has just started with kidney issues.
I'm so happy to say that my dear Saphie is doing very well. She has steroid injections every two months, painkiller drops every other day, oil of evening primrose drops daily and she's on natural drops from Pet Wellbeing for kidneys, joints, cancer and liver.
She goes out most days for a while, runs up stairs and occasionally plays with my 15 month old kitten. She has a mad dash several times a day two! She's alot happier now than 6 months ago!
Many thanks to Susie. I now have years of joy! I have no human family any more. My Saphie and Elly are my family. Many many thanks.

worst vets experience I have ever had. Would advise looking at alternative as they are incompetent and left me fearing for safety of my pet.

Over many years hindsight I would never trust this or possibly another small animal vet. Cat supposedly had heart murmur and prescribed tablets. Within a year cat miserable with renal failure... Besides tablet cost, a few days cat on a drip staying at vet, and cost to put to sleep, the cat suffered not only tablets shoved down daily but horrible end. It was out of vet"s ignorance. The practice is money oriented. DO NOT get conned into tablets. I loved this cat and ashamed how he died in agony. No treatment is often best and the heart murmur might have been subtle but it would have been better than how these tablets CAUSED renal failure. I paid this practice a lot of money to kill my lovely cat.Read Less
